In need of a sign

43 In need of a sign

Aaron fingered the bolt in his hand, feeling the grooves that ran around the surface, twisting and turning. It was a beautiful piece, excellently crafted—not like he knew what a badly crafted bolt looked like. All he knew was that the bolt was…great. After all, it was meant to be fitted into a part of the aircraft they were assembling.

Around them, people worked, calling orders, getting others to coordinate. Machines ad gigantic robotic arms were at work, the churning of the machines was loud, but not unbearable. To the side, the large assembly plant was located. It was fitting pieces over the other.

“Grand, isn’t it?” Ethan asked and Aaron glanced at him. What wouldn’t he give to get rid of this creepy guy? If only Aaron had known that he’d appear in the factory just at the same time he entered, he’d have gone back to his office no matter how boring it was.
