Chapter 1.1 - Raizel Harrison de Haltz

The sound of footsteps echoed through the long corridor which was dominated by black. Slowly, this sound grew dimmer and turned into the sound of a gust of wind.

A black shadow moved swiftly across the passageway to somewhere. Keep on going until reach a room where there is a throne chair dominated by dark red velvet with some parts covered with gold and decorated with some sparkling diamonds. This decoration is in contrast to this black-dominated room.

Slowly, the figure of a human form formed from the shadow that now occupied the throne chair. This shadow further emphasizes his form as a man who looks like a human.

His appearance is indeed not much different from humans, only his skin is slightly paler, his eyes are sharper, and also two fangs that adorn the row of his upper teeth.

This figure, a man who had a "human" appearance, he is a vampire.

Several rows of figures that resembled him were in front of the throne, put one knee to the floor, and put their right hand to the chest. "Welcome, Your Highness Harrison!" shouted those who were servants and bodyguards.

They also give deep respect to their master, Raizel Harrison de Haltz, a pure-blood vampire who is the leader of the vampire clan named Haltz.

Ray didn't reply. The expression on his face was angry, his deep black irises turned blood red. A murderous aura was felt around his body. Right now he was more interested in the figure of a vampire who was not far from in front of him.

"Sorry for my delay, Rai," said the man who had been staring at him sharply.

"Where's my food, Albert?" he asked in a firm voice.

"As usual, in the room," replied Al, bowing his head as a sign of respect.

Tonight the wind is blowing quite hard. Spread the cold to all corners of the wind. Enough to make anyone reluctant to move out of his house because the cold was too piercing to the bones.

Meanwhile, in Haltz Castle, the light of the full moon gently entered the room Al mentioned through the cracks in the window panes, becoming the only light illuminating the room.

This room is one of the dozens of rooms in Haltz Castle, the castle where the main family members of the Haltz Clan live, which currently has a woman in it who is trembling with fear.

This woman looked around the room for a way out. Unfortunately, before she could find it, she was first surprised by the arrival of Rai who had entered the room without her realizing it.

"W-who are you!?" she stammered, not forgetting the ragged breathing and dilated pupils.

Rai just smirked, showing his fangs that were already out, ready to be used to pierce the skin of this woman's neck. However, this woman couldn't see it because she was standing in a place where there wasn't much light.

"WHO ARE YOU!? WHERE AM I?!?" the woman screamed in terror.

"I am Raizel Harrison de Haltz, leader of the Haltz Clan. You are now in my castle located in the interior of the Silver Forest. Far from human life," he explained and slowly started to approach.

"S-Silver forest!?"

"Yes, Silver Forest. Legend has it that in this forest there are creatures that suck human blood until they die. They are called vampires. You know the legend I'm talking about right?"

This woman swallowed her saliva, she knew very well about the legend. But he never expected that this legend was real. This woman thought this legend was just a typical legend that was always told from generation to generation. A story for children not to play too far from their home

.

"Hearing your silence, surely you know this legend. Then why did you even dare to come here?" Rai asked while gently caressing this woman's cheek.

Frightened and shocked, this woman immediately brushed him off violently, "Don't touch me!" she screamed.

"Okay," Rai replied slightly, "Playtime is up. Now I'm hungry," and this woman looked at Rai with increasing fear.

"Ohh... have you managed to come back to your senses?" He noticed this woman's pupils were getting bigger and her brows were pressed more deeply.

"You're in the Silver Forest with its vampire legend, and you're in a castle not that little human house of yours, and one more thing, I don't think I'm complete enough when I say it. I'm the leader of a vampire clan called Haltz," he explained with a smirk that could now be seen, very clearly.

"W-what? Vampire! WHAT DO YOU MEAN!?" cried the woman, her body trembling even more.

"Shhh... Shut up," Rai put his index finger on this woman's lips, "I'm hungry and you're ruining my appetite."

Sensing the approaching danger, this woman reflexively backed away in fear until her body hit the wall. She looked at Rai with a look of fear in her eyes.

"You can't run anywhere. I'm not the only vampire here, there are hundreds of other vampires outside this room. By me or any other vampire, you will still die," he said coldly.

Rai then leaned forward, until his lips were right on this woman's ear. "What were your last words? Hmm...?" he whispered.

However, Rai did not wait for an answer at all. He just stuck his fangs in the woman's neck. In an instant, this woman rebelled then screamed as Rai plunged his fangs deeper and violently into her neck.

"GET OFF ME!! REMOVE IT!!! YOU... ARRGGGHHHH!!!!"

Rai sucked this woman's blood quickly as if someone was going to snatch his food. He didn't let a drop of blood go to waste.

"It hurts! Let go... me... please..." this woman asked quietly. Slowly, her vision darkened then fell limply into Rai's arms.

Rai grinned widely and wiped his mouth which contained remnants of blood. Like cotton, he then lifted the woman's body and flung her violently onto the bed.

"ALBERT!" shouted Rai who was now sitting on his throne chair.

Albert who had just arrived immediately answered the call, "Yes, Rai?"

"Tomorrow morning, take the woman. Return her to where you found her," he ordered coldly.

"Understood."

Albert left with a very deep breath. He knew very well that this woman would not survive. Rai is famous for being cruel and sadistic, he will not hesitate to suck the blood of his victims until it runs out.
