Sect Master's Decision, Peak Meridian Opening Realm

(A/n: Big boob elf girls are god-level threats these days. Brothers, stay strong as we overcome this month together!) (Edit: This was in NNN)

...

The space was massive.

Too massive to be the residence of a regular person.

This room spanned thousands of meters and was held up by some golden pillars.

A long golden carpet stretched from this room's doors to the pristine white stairs leading to the large obsidian throne.

Sitting on the throne was a titanic man!

His muscles barely fit in his clothing as his chest seemed capable of enshrouding the whole world.

His biceps seemed to be even bigger than Blade's waist as he gazed with a pair of cold eyes at the two figures kneeling below. Gazing at Jin and Aurel who didn't even dare to make eye contact as they instead watched the ground, the man said with a smirk.

"There is no need to worry about those two origins. They came from a waste continent and were lucky enough to stumble upon a Space Crack." As he continued, the man said in a deep voice that reverberated with power throughout the throne room.

"Though I'm unsure what a Space Crack was even doing there nor am I aware of how they were able to survive inside of a Space Crack which is normally unstable, such a thing is beside the point."

Soon after, silence descended in the throne room. The smirk on this man's face grew wider as he sensed the confusion from the two kneeling figures of Jin and Aurel.

"Hehe... The moment they appeared in Limitless Sky World, the Overseer sensed it and already calculated their past!"

THRUM!

Instantly, Jin and Aurel felt a shiver down their spine at the mention of this Overseer. Even the Sect Master who sat on the throne in front of them couldn't give them the fear that the Overseer gave off.

"As I said, you don't have to worry about their origin. Simply make them take the oath and all will be fine. Hopefully, my Limitless Sky Sect will birth another Blessed or even a Holy Child!!!"

THRUM!!

Cold sweat appeared on the forehead of Jin and Aurel as they heard the words of their Sect Master as only those who had gained the title of Elder and were present in the Sect for a long time like Jin and Aurel would understand the true consequences of the birth of a Holy Child.

"Don't worry Sect Master..." Jin uttered as Aurel continued by saying. "I will lead my disciple to the best of my abilities and form a strong foundation so that he can blossom into something worthy of gaining the title of a Holy Child!!"

Bringing a smirk to the expressionless face of the Sect Master, he then gestured for them to leave as he gazed at their fading figures one last time before suddenly standing to his feet and bowing in the direction of a now materializing figure with long black hair reaching her waist.

Her light brown eyes seemed to peer into the secrets of the world as the Sect Master's black-colored eyes met with those of the newly appearing woman while he said.

"Are you sure it is alright to allow some Martial Kings to be the masters of those two?" As he said those words, the woman appeared next to him and sat on the throne as she said.

"It doesn't matter who is their master. From what I observed, their talents are beyond extraordinary and they'll become much stronger only with a little guidance." Pausing, she then continued. "Weirdly, I could barely see anything from their past... only blurred fragmented images."

Two Months Later...

Boom!

A mini eruption originating from Blade's body resounded in his surroundings as he opened his eyes with a smirk forming on his face... In just two months, he had moved from level seven to a level at the peak of the Meridian Opening Realm.

Luckily, he had gotten to cultivate in that so-called Holy Grounds for Outer Sect Disciples when he had now appeared otherwise he would be now breaking into the eighth level of the Meridian Opening realm instead.

Standing to his feet while grabbing the three-meter poll next to him, Blade gazed at his surroundings which he had grown accustomed to for the past two months. Honestly, living in a massive crater wasn't fun whatsoever.

The crater was over fifty meters deep into the earth and on the walls, there were cracks that, upon further inspection, one would realize were caves and rather deep ones at that. Each of these caves was host to a creature at the pinnacle of the meridian opening realm.

To pass his trial set by his master, Blade was to exit the crater. If it was merely meridian-opening realm creatures, it wouldn't be a problem even for his past self before entering the Limitless Sky World but, the cave closest to the top of the crater was different from all others.

That cave was host to a creature in the realm beyond and from the aura that it exuded, Blade knew he wasn't its match... not yet. Unlike Humans, Blade couldn't fight the difference between a great realm with beasts. Their whole cultivation system is different and allows for one average Beast in the same realm to be comparable to at least ten average humans in the same realm.

But, Blade being something that shouldn't be considered Human, was also different and could probably rival a Beast in the same realm as himself. Yet, the Beast at the top wasn't in the same realm as himself, it was a whole great realm higher.

He still wasn't confident he might or might not win, and since he had never faced any mental or physical block in raising his cultivation, he planned to wait till he reached the Martial Artist Realm of power before entering that cave to challenge the Beast since he thought it shouldn't take too long.

But first, Blade rushed up the walls and passed tens of caves before reaching one in particular as he entered. He had made it a habit to enter a cave every once in a while to practice the staff technique given by his master Jin.

It was mainly because of this reason that was he even sent to this crater. According to his master, the best way to train in the staff technique: Dance of the Eight Gods, was to use it during battle.

It was an incomparably powerful technique that when mastered to its most completed state, allowed one to fight an opponent who was a small realm above them.

For example, according to Jin, if one was to master the technique while being a level seven meridian opening realm expert then he would be able to fight level eight meridian opening realm experts.

The greater one's talent was, the more strength one can exert while using the technique.

Arrogant thoughts churned in Blade's mind as he thought that if it was he who mastered the technique, then nothing stopped him from fighting against someone a great realm above him with merely the power of the technique.

While thinking this, Blade entered the wide mouth of the cave and his nose was instantly assaulted by a foul smell. The surface was filled with many puddles and as he walked deeper into it, the water continued to become more and more as it eventually turned into a pool that reached to his knees.

Suddenly, in his vision, a fin quickly began approaching him as if it had thought he couldn't see his body. Seeing this, Blade couldn't help but think, 'This... it's one of the downfalls of beasts. Though they're stronger than other races in the same realm, they're a whole lot more stupid too.'

Tightening the grip he held with his staff, Blade didn't bother with activating his technique as he used merely pure brute force and brought the poll down from above and smashed it into the body of the creature under the waters.

But, suddenly, and very much unexpectedly, Blade's senses perceived the sudden movements of the water creature as it dodged Blade's sudden attack with speeds that shouldn't be possible for something still in the Meridian Opening Realm.

Blade's poll hit the water causing it to splash widely and block his eyes, momentarily losing sight of the creature as it opened its mouth and bit into Blade's shin!!

Urgh!

The stinging sensation assaulted Blade's nerves as he quickly jumped back, but not before losing a chunk of his flesh.

Hoping back, his blood spurted out. It was a weird substance with a mixture of red and white that, upon losing contact with Blade's body, suddenly disappeared into nothingness. Blade's wound also seemed unnatural as his flesh regenerated so quickly that one can even see his bones, muscles, and veins wiggling and reconstructing.

Before long, not even a minute had passed, a minute of continuously dodging the attacks made by the water monster, Blade had returned to his peak physical condition. Instantly right after, the many veins in Blade's body bulged greatly as he activated his nine meridians as Life Energy coursed through his veins, giving him incredible strength.

Swoosh!!

Bringing down the staff, it split the surrounding air as his current strength was now many times higher than previously!!
