Six Months

Instantly right after, the many veins in Blade's body bulged greatly as he activated his nine meridians as Life Energy coursed through his veins, giving him incredible strength.

Swoosh!!

Bringing down the staff, it split the surrounding air as his current strength was now many times higher than previously!!

Boom!

With a smile on his face, Blade slashed his staff through the body of the water monster, causing weird green blood to splash onto his face.

The sticky brain matter splashed in his surroundings yet he remained expressionless as he had already experienced this many times before in the other caves.

...

...

According to the words of his master, it normally took the average genius many years to break into the realm after the meridian opening. But, it also took others many months to increase their realm by a small realm when in the meridian opening realm yet, it only took Blade a month each time.

He knew that for him, it may not necessarily be the same as others.

He might be able to break through into the Martial Art Disciple realm in a few months or at most, a year, so he was prepared to stay inside this crater for such a long period.

...

One Month Later

...

It had been three months since he was accepted as the disciple of Aurel. He currently had his eyes closed as he punched the air repeatedly. His blue hair had already reached his mid-back region and was unruly as even though he seemed to have been deprived of a bath in a while, there was still a distinct beauty to him.

Ha!

Ha!

Ha!

Punch after punch, Dolion remained steadfast and followed the words of Aurel with great discipline.

Void Extermination Fist...

It was a supremely powerful technique comprised of nine levels that caused the user of the technique to exert a force from their fist at a level many times higher than what this person would normally be able to exert.

Out of the nine levels, even Dolion's master had mastered eight. But, mastering eight wasn't anything to scoff at as her strength was something soo high that inside the Martial King realm, she was undefeatable.

For the past three months, Dolion would do nothing but practice the Void Extermination Fist. Of course, he would take a break to consume a meal a day and also rest. His resting time, he'll use to meditate and improve his cultivation.

Dolion did it without complaint as it was this discipline he needed to at the very least have some hope of keeping up with the speed at which Blade cultivated. Day in day out, rinse and repeat, Dolion's past three months were a monotonous robotic schedule of train, eat, rest.

Ha!

Ha!

Ha!

Grunting while punching the air, a bead of sweat fell from Dolion's chin as he had already lost himself in the rhythmic sound of his fists beating the air. They seemed to contain a controlled power capable of destroying anything as Dolion suddenly stopped his actions.

His bare upper body made it possible to see his chiseled muscles and abs as he approached a boulder as tall as himself. While in front of it, he entered his stance before then sending a full-power punch toward the boulder.

Boom!!

As his fist landed on the boulder, an explosion occurred. Before long, spiderweb-like cracks began forming all over the boulder as it then crumbled to small rubble!! A dazzling smile imprinted itself onto his face as he turned his back to the debris and exited the cave he had spent his past three months in.

...

...

"This..." Dolion uttered confusedly after understanding what his master had asked of him. He was in clean black pants and a black top and had a dark blue robe over his clothes. Right now, he was situated at the bottom of the mountain he was training at as his master informed him that his pre-training was over and he was now allowed to officially join the Limitless Sky Sect but...

But first, he was to take an oath. He wasn't sure what exactly were the consequences of breaking the oath but, but it wasn't as if he wasn't going to say it.

How shameless would he have to be to not say the oath even after being given such a powerful technique by his master?

"The Cosmic Will as my witness, I Dolion Necro swear on the bloodline of my ancestors to never bring harm to the Limitless Sky Sect. If I'm to break this ought, may I face the wrath of the Cosmic Will and forever be turned to ash by the Will of the Cosmos!!!"

THRUM!

Right after saying such words, the skies above turned dark as a lightning bolt shot down from the skies and onto the body of Dolion!

It was soo fast that no one was able to perceive it as Dolion only felt slight discomfort as if something had wrapped around his heart before it then went on to disappear.

Thereafter, he gazed at his master who only gestured for him to hop onto the object she was currently standing on.

It was a two-meter large disk-shaped object that, upon sensing Dolion's presence now on it, instantly disappeared as before he could register, Dolion was already in the skies.

The speed was too quick. So much so that before he even realized it, he had found himself next to his master and in front of a small cabin around ten meters squared.

From a mountain range to now in front of a cabin, his surroundings were populated with other cabins of similar size and appearance!

Shock!

Though he remained expressionless, Dolion was greatly shocked inside as his master glanced at him with a calm smile on her face while saying, "This will be your home for the future. If ever there is a problem, you simply need to come by my Hall and I'll help you as best as I can." And before Dolion could express his confusion, Aurel waved her hand as a thick book exited her space ring.

"This has everything you need to know about the Limitless Sky Sect and would answer all your doubts." She said while handing it to him. Before long, she had already disappeared while Dolion remained rooted to the spot. To him, it felt as if his master was trying to throw him away as if he was a plague.

Closing his eyes and taking in a deep breath, he calmed his nerves as he gazed at the beautiful night skies and green moon.

'Hmm, I wonder how Blade's doing...' As he thought of Blade, a smile unknowingly surfaced on his face making his effeminate features even more dazzling. But, the smile was replaced by a serious expression as he continued his thoughts while entering his new residence.

'I need to get stronger. It's only when I'm strong can I stay at his side, protect him from harm, and gain his love forever and ever.'

'It's only when I annihilate any possible distractions, can I gain his undivided attention... and to do that, I need strength.' By the time his thoughts reached here, he had already closed the door to his residence and sat on the floor with the massive book in his hand ready to accumulate knowledge of the sect.

Over the past months, his strength had greatly increased along with his cultivation as he had already entered the eighth level of the meridian opening realm. Already at the peak of this realm, his next goal was to enter the Martial Art Disciple realm!

...

Five Months Later

...

Five more months had passed...

In this world of cultivation, a mere five months wasn't anything worth mentioning.

Some strong cultivators would close their eyes and reopen them only to find out many generations had already lived and died.

In a world of cultivation, time itself was a mysterious thing. One's lifespan is soo long that one would feel as if they're immortal yet, because of the violence, some cultivators would live as long as normal mortals, being killed way before their time.

Anyway, all this wasn't worth anything to Blade as he mostly focused on himself and completing his goal of becoming stronger, strong enough to become an actual eternal entity.

And over these mere five months, he had taken another step into becoming a true cultivator and an immortal being.

With great effort, he had managed to form the one thing that would stay with him for the rest of his existence.

If to enter the Meridian Opening realm, one must unclog their meridians, then to enter the Martial Art Disciple realm, one must form their Lower Dantian.

The Lower Dantian would naturally form once sufficient Life Energy is being absorbed but the speed it forms is totally dependent on the talent of the cultivator.

Upon forming it, one's Life Energy would undergo a substantial change in quality and quantity making those in the Martial Art Disciple realm neigh invincible when placed in front of those in the Meridian Opening Realm.
