Battle In Two Days...?!

"Who're those two...?!"

"They're hot though!"

"Especially the one with his weird hair..."

At this time Blade's hair was from the neck down black which, even if he didn't have such alluring features, would have drawn him some attention. Now with the duo approaching the depths of the Pill Creation Hall, more and more eyes fell on them and they weren't only eyes of awe but also envy.

"Junior Brother, do you need any help?"

Suddenly, interrupting the duo's conversation was a beauty in a white martial artist robe and long black hair draping down to her waist. Dolion's eyes darted in her direction failing to hide the little killing intent they release...!

His peculiar reaction was noticed by the woman and Blade as the black-haired woman smirked slightly and grabbed hold of Blade's arm, squeezing it between her bosom which was above average...

Seeing this as a clear provocation, Dolion gritted his teeth in anger but soon after...

"Little Junior? Do you need help too?..."

To Dolion's surprise, a short female with brown hair appeared behind him grabbing his left palm and interlocking her fingers. She too was a beauty capable of making most men feel an urge to protect her but...

'Unluckily for her... Dolion isn't part of most men...!' Blade thought while he pulled his hand away from the black-haired woman, surprising her with his dominant strength.

After all, he was a new disciple yet he could so easily escape her grip. Of course, she wasn't trying to prevent him from escaping her grasp but still...

Tch!

Snorting coldly, Dolion followed Blade's actions but in a much more hostile way as his large innocent eyes not containing any of the previous innocence, sending shivers down the brown-haired girl's spine.

"Let's leave this place...!" With a bright smile, and a sudden 180 degree turn in terms of temperament, Dolion grabbed Blade's hand and lead him out of the Pill Creation Hall, under the gazes of both heart-struck females and envious males alike.

In the cultivation world where Humans constantly live on the edge, their actions are much blunter as not many can retain a calm and cunning mentality meaning, most were hot-tempered and always looking for a fight.

Seeing the appearance of not one but two individuals who attracted the attention of all the females that they previously chased, some males weren't ready to take this lying down as their gazes were brimming with battle intent, and some even with killing intent toward Blade, and Dolion!

Blade and his 'guide' quickly exited the Pill Hall as Dolion lead him to a different location in this fairly large city.

As their figures slowly disappeared from the Hall, some eyes filled with evil intentions followed their figures as without realizing it, Blade and co had already found themselves some antagonists...

...

...

Weapon Hall...

"Hmm, this bo staff...! I kind of like it..." Blade mumbled while standing in front of a poll that was around nine feet long. His eyes lit up because of the exquisite red painted on them... There weren't any excessive designs and there weren't any colors besides red, drawing Blade's attention even more.

Hehe...

His expression somewhat resembled that of a child now seeing cotton candy for the first time, Dolion cutely chuckled as he then questioned with a slight smirk.

"Oh, is Blade Pure-Heart, the always cold and aloof showing me such an expression...? You must deeply love the color red."

Hearing Dolion's teasing voice, he replied. "Hmph! The only reason I fa-!"

"I see, I see! So you like this staff don't you...?"

Suddenly, Blade felt a hand resting on his shoulder as a haughty voice resounded in his ear. Turning around, trying to restrain the rage tearing through his soul, Blade laid eyes upon a group of six or seven individuals standing behind a certain arrogant-looking youth with spiky red hair.

'This thing...'

It was the only thing Dolion could think when seeing a rough hand resting on Blade's shoulder.

Trailing up the hand to the haughty face, Dolion suddenly felt like punching someone as the spiky red-haired man glanced at him before returning his gaze to Blade.

"You're correct, I do like it but...I don't see what it has to do with you?" Blade replied with a monotone voice as his expression remained almost robotic and emotionless. Utterly blank, and it caused the others to flinch slightly.

"What do you mean by that?"

"Of course, as the Senior Brother, I've got the responsibility of educating this Junior Brother of mine about the workings of the Sect... Like, especially about the certain little battles we have to welcome the new prodigies." And before Blade could reply, he continued.

"Let's just say you win... the reward would be a substantial amount of Spirit Stones, allowing you to easily acquire this staff and still have enough to buy other things like Energy Enhancing Pills that can quicken Junior Brother's cultivation..."

With a kind smile, he conveyed to Blade how one can earn the currency of the Limitless Sky World as an idea instantly struck Blade's mind causing his previous hostility when facing the people in front of him to subside as he said.

"Hmm... okay but... there must be some way that-!" But, before he could continue, his enthusiastic Senior cut him off and loudly said...

"Haha... Junior Brother must wonder if there is a way to make sure we don't go back on our word if we lose...?" Chuckling a little, he gazed into the eyes of the 'Senior', and with clear embarrassment, he scratched the back of his head while nodding...

cute...

Dolion felt slightly dazed seeing this scene as the intent to kill budding in his heart intensified... He wanted all others who had seen this side of Blade to be exterminated, after all, only he deserved to see Blade like this... such an expression, he wanted it all for himself!!

Cough!...

Anyway, the redhead laughed happily, as if freed from the worries of the world, "Junior Brother doesn't need to worry... You'll understand when you come to the Battle Arena but first..." He said while taking out a scroll. Upon opening it, revealed some terms about the battle and the willingness Blade's participate.

The only way for them to compete, both parties needed to agree, and to do that, was by simply saying a certain oath to the Cosmic Will...

Hehe...

Blade internally smirked.

What was the Cosmic Will...?

To others, an invincible Law that if broken, will cause one to be exterminated by the Heavens, never to be reincarnated again... To Blade...

Free cultivation resource!

"The Cosmic Will as my witness, I Khan Chad swear on the bloodline of my ancestors to adhere to the rules of this contract and fight Blade Pure-Heart in two days in the Battle Arena of Limitless Sky World's Outer Sect. If I'm to break this oath, may I face the wrath of the Cosmic Will and forever be turned to ash by the Will of the Cosmos!!!"

THRUM!!

Soon after, with a calm smile...

"The Cosmic Will as my witness, I Blade Pure-Heart swear on the bloodline of my ancestors to adhere to the rules of this contract and fight Khan Chad in two days in the Battle Arena of Limitless Sky World's Outer Sect. If I'm to break this oath, may I face the wrath of the Cosmic Will and forever be turned to ash by the Will of the Cosmos!!!"

As the light flashed down onto their bodies in an instant, without them perceiving it, the two then locked eyes with one another... the fake atmosphere disappearing instantly after...

"You little brat...! Daring to be this arrogant... Hehe... in two days from now, let me see how you survive the embarrassment I plan for you!!" Turning around and exiting the Weapon Hall, the redhead left Blade with some provocative words.

"Blade? You know that you didn't have to agree right...?" Dolion questioned with worry on his face but, Blade's cold eyes locked onto Dolion's innocent pair of eyes as he brought his face mere inches away from Dolion's and said...

"But, do you not like it like this...? The anticipation, my possible death, you... Don't you want to feel despair, then, at the last moment, a miracle happens and hope appears out of the depths of the flames? Then and only then, can you feel satisfied... Do you not want that feeling?"

Hearing this, Dolion's body trembled, his skin paled but...

'Ahh! Blade truly does know me soo well...' He thought, while a red hue covered his face.

Blade did know him too well. How could he read him like this...? Dolion didn't know but, the unknown excited him... maybe a little too much but Blade... wasn't this why he had fallen for him the moment his eyes laid upon Blade?

It was an instinct... An instinct that was created back at his birthplace... A Demonic instinct allows him to identify someone who would allow him to experience the most Chaos.

The person called Blade Pure-Heart... was someone that made his instincts spiral out of control from the moment he met him and this was something he hadn't ever experienced.

'The only person to come close was the blurred figure in my memories, someone that can cause me to feel fear yet, even that person can't compare to this little Blade of mine... hehe!' His cheeks turned a deeper shade of red thinking this.
