Bam!
Sword and staff collided. Each weapon was strengthened with a mysterious energy that caused the surroundings to experience a shockwave upon the collision. The power of the two on the platform, firmly entered the realms of superhuman as their figures blurred and appeared at a different location of the battle arena.
Bam! Bam! Bam!
The two weapons continued to collide. In between, Blade would send multiple kicks toward Dick's chest and abdomen, trying to throw him off. Expecting this, Dick would easily dodge the attacks as his cold eyes wouldn't be diverted from Blade's figure.
The fight continued for a few minutes. Both would occasionally land attacks on the other as they were able to quickly realize that this back-and-forth didn't make sense.
Unlike Dick, Blade was a mere Low-Level Martial Master, the amount of Life Energy in his Dantian was much less, in fact, the longer the fight went on, the more beneficial would it be for Dick yet, for him, it sliced his pride if he needed to turn the battle into that of attrition.
Even after he won, where would his face be? Struggling to defeat a brat who had just entered the Sect a few days ago... It was unacceptable. If it did happen, he may as well dig a hole and bury his head.
Hopping away to create some distance, Dick smirked mysteriously. Seeing this, Blade immediately sensed an incoming danger as the sword in Dick's hand glimmered ever so brightly. Once again, his movements became a blur, this time he rushed toward Blade with a much more calm smile as he knew with this attack, he'll end the fight.
{Mountain Piercing Sword Art}
His sword parted the winds as Blade felt like multiple swords were rushing toward him at the same time as he clenched the staff tightly. The power radiating from the attack was immeasurable for Blade as the amount of Life energy it radiated was immense.
The Martial Master realm was the beginning of one's journey as a cultivator. It was when one could use Battle Arts with some degree of mastery as those who were at the pinnacle of this realm, they'll be able to dish out power surpassing the norm.
Like twinkling stars, the illusionary swords along with the real ones penetrated Blade's body..! Or, at least, this was what it seemed like but, this figure slowly dispersed as if it wasn't really in the first place, causing Dick's pupils to shrink.
'Afterimage..!'
Appearing behind Dick's figure was Blade with his eyes closed. He needed to focus completely on the Dance Of The 8 Gods to use it. In the first level, his speed would be multiplied by an incredible amount. His eyes opened..!
Swoosh!
The staff raged down from the skies as it hacked at Dick's neck. The latter had quickly recovered from his initial shock. He had undergone many missions, so of course, he was experienced enough to not let some shock affect him.
Bam!
Blocking his attack, Dick was sent a few steps back. In this moment of losing balance, Blade used the first level of the Dance of the eight Gods yet again. Unintentionally or not, the fight with someone stronger than him had awakened his incredible potential, if only a little.
{Dance of the Eight Gods: Wind God}
Blade's figure moved like the wind. His silhouette blurred, appearing in front of Dick once more as the latter couldn't help but grit his teeth.
It had already been made clear, even though he couldn't understand why his opponent had much more physical strength than him, and with such a technique that was of a higher level than his own, Dick would need to go all out to have a chance.
It was a realization that irked him but he'll do it. What was the sense of dying due to pride, at times it would make him look good but, no matter how good he looked, he much rather living an ugly life than die early while maintaining an image.
{Mountain Piercing Sword Art}
This time, he stopped skidding across the arena floors. Regaining balance, he quickly prepared his battle art as the blurry figure of Blade rushed toward him. His sword glimmered much more brightly than the first time as many more illusionary swords appeared.
Seeing this, Blade's brows rose as he could count tens. But, it didn't stop there. The tens of illusionary swords seemingly merged with the real sword as he then rushed toward Blade. Their figures met as their weapons collided.
Boom!
Sparks of flames took place as the two figures slashed, hacked, cut, and ate away at the others' attacks and stamina. Blade's figure continued to seem to disperse into nothingness as his mastery over the first form 'Wind God' continued to rise.
Even though his speed rose, his energy reserves plummeted quickly, and even as Dick was being suppressed by Blade's absolute dominance, his energy reserves were much more so he didn't worry as much.
But, he didn't know why Blade's dominance in the fight continued to increase. Even though the longer the battle went on, the worse it should have been for Blade, it seemed to be the opposite. The speed at which Blade improved scared him as he began to frantically send attacks.

"Incredible..." Jin, who had spent months mastering the first level "Wind God" was left slightly hurt seeing how easy it was for Blade. Unlike him who placed his sweat, blood, and tears into learning it when he was younger, Blade did it under some stimulation from someone of the same strength.
At first, he was slightly apprehensive at the fact that a Martial Master was challenging Blade to a death battle but, before he could do anything, Blade had agreed. Seeing how his disciple agreed, he wouldn't simply go and try to persuade the fellow.
Even though it wasn't public knowledge, he didn't want to offend someone who had the backing of the Sect Master. If worst came to, he'll simply prevent Blade's death by interfering. The Elders who oversee the Battle Arena are easy to please, simply give them some Spirit Stones, and they'll readily follow your every command.
Sitting next to Jin was Aurel. Her fist was clenched so hard that her nails dug into her palm. At first, she was left shocked and angered by Blade who was able to so easily defeat a Martial Disciple. The fact that he was a Martial Master at seventeen was simply adding more salt to her wound but...
But, now that he was fighting against someone two minor realms above his, it triggered her to no end. She was the epitome of arrogant and haughty a few minutes ago but, ever since the battles began, she, along with the rest of the stadium had fallen into a state of silence.
Surprise. Shock. Awe.
This ate away at her consciousness as her disciple who sat beside her, Andra couldn't help but release a beautiful smile.
It was a pity that the battles weren't much of a challenge for Blade so she couldn't see him suffer and then, at the last minute, make a breakthrough and defeat his opponent but, it didn't matter, she also enjoy this.
What she enjoyed most of all would be the shock on the faces of those she viewed as lesser. These people, 'Humph! This is how you should be all the time. Shocked and awed by my Blade's greatness since he is, after all, the person, I Andra Fallen have developed an obsession for!'

"So, this is the power of a Young Holy Child ahh!" This Core disciple wasn't impressed by the power of the two in the battle arena no, but, what she was surprised by was the age of the one who had the title of Young Holy Child.
In fact, with her strength, and her status as a Core disciple, she had all the right to look down on someone like Jin and Aurel. They were of the same realm of strength, but their status was much different.
She was fed and taken care of by the Sect while Jin and Aurel needed to fend for themselves. If she wanted to, one could say she had all the right to take the two, Blade and Dolion, as her disciples, well, this was of course if they weren't Young Hold Childs of the Sect.
Limitless Sky Sect placed great status upon those bestowed with this title. Now that Blade had gone on to make such a powerful statement, many of the Sect's Old Monsters wouldn't be able to sit still and try to snatch Blade away from Jin.
Of course, this was morally wrong. Who would snatch someone else's disciple away from them? And not many disciples would even agree but...
...
...
Sigh!
Looking down at the figure on the floor, Blade sighed as Dick was now a husk of his former self. The many spectators were shocked into silence. The fact that this battle was tough, Blade's hood fell, revealing his long white & black hair. His appearance knocked out some Outer disciples.
"What a dick!" He uttered. Morally, Blade didn't have any morals as he spat on Dick's corpse before approaching the Elder and taking what was rightfully his.
