Supreme Powers Prepare

The seven main continents of this world were each ruled by a supreme Sect. These supreme Sects were incredibly powerful, each with rich history and mysterious origins.

Some even say that their true power lay with cultivators who had transcended this world and stepped into the land of Immortals.

Each supreme Sect was powerful, which meant they also had immense information about this world and the Limitless Sky Sect was no different.

They had countless spies skilled in disguising arts who had infiltrated these Sects with the sole goal of collecting information and reporting back to the Sect.

It wasn't just the Limitless Sky Sect like this though. All the Sects had a group of spies hidden in plain sight inside each other's Sect acting as either disciples or even Elders.

It was due to this that, whenever a mysterious location with peculiar origins and home to treasures appeared, it wasn't just the Sect that ruled over the location it appeared in, that would gain benefits.

Since this would cause a sensation throughout, eventually all in the Sect would know, this included the many spies who would report back to their Sect.

A Sect would see a mysterious land suddenly appearing and prepare to enter to search for treasures, only to find that the very next day, all the other Supreme Sects were also present.

The Limitless Sky Sect wasn't the only supreme power of this world that thought of the idea of sending spies to infiltrate the other supreme powers.

One could say every supreme Sect in this world contained a few tens of disciples that were spies and naturally, this also included the Limitless Sky Sect.

The Limitless Sky Sect was a powerful supreme Sect that contained a great threat to other supreme powers of this world, so it was obvious they couldn't leave them alone.

Naturally, the news of a seventeen-year-old Martial Master entered the ears of these supreme powers, causing the brains of the Leaders and the mysterious beings behind them to buzz as they would think of a solution.

As a supreme power of this world, to maintain such a status, these supreme powers needed to not only have great power but also needed to have incredibly intelligent members otherwise, they would have fallen to the schemes of other Sects long ago.

Different reactions stirred when they heard the news, some harbored ill intent toward a possible future threat while others remained neutral. Some even planned to find ways to seduce this boy and get him to join their Sect.

If Blade were to hear their thoughts of seducing him with lucrative offers, he would have felt like dying. He would be dying of laughter... The humans of this world wanted to win him over, even after what he had experienced due to these same humans..?

Heavenly Celestial Sect...

It was a massive Sect that, unlike Limitless Sky World, wasn't as strict in its requirements to become Outer disciples.

Naturally, to become disciples of higher status, one needed unbelievable talent as the amount of competition was tens of times more than in the Limitless Sky World.

In the Heavenly Celestial Sect's main hall, one would see hundreds of figures present. There was a long aisle that began at the entrance straight to the stairs that led to the Sect Leader's obsidian throne.

On either end of this same platform were thrones of equal size and quality that each released auras of ancientness and mystery.

This distance shockingly covered hundreds of meters. On both sides of this aisle were tens of stone thrones slightly smaller than the Sect Leader's one.

Each of these thrones was currently occupied by the figure of an Elder of this Sect. Much different from the Limitless Sky Sect, Elders were the highest form of status under the Vice-Sect Master who was a being who stood above ten thousand and under three.

The Sect Master, and the two Overseers. They were figures who earned great respect in the eyes of these Elders, especially the two Overseers, their power was comparable to the Overseers of the Limitless Sky Sect.

At this moment in time, only one of the thrones was occupied. The Sect Master who called this meeting had a pair of cold azure eyes that seemed to stare into the void of space. At this time, when all the attention of the Elders was focused on him, his cold icy voice resounded throughout.

"I would assume, each of you understands what the appearance of a possible Young Holy Child in the Limitless Sky Sect means?"

The words of the Sect Leader seemed to resonate within the hall. It was as if it were words spoken by the creator of the world itself.

"Now, each of the supreme powers has gained at least one disciple with the talent and qualification to be identified as the Young Holy Child of their Sect."

Though they already had a fair idea of what the Sect Leader was about to say, they still placed their full attention on his words. After all, he was quite scary when he was made, it was better not to do anything to offend him.

"It is only natural to assume that soon, 'that' place will be opening, and the young geniuses of this world would be forced to enter once 'it' comes."

Thrum!

Even though they expected these words, when it came to the opening of 'that' realm, these Elders couldn't help but feel their hearts palpate with excitement.

It was a mystical place that only opened once every generation. When it opened, it meant that each of the supreme powers had given birth to incredible talents beyond the norm.

Talents that came around every million years, and once it this realm closed, once those talents who entered exited, they'll exit with incredible strength. Strength beyond the norm...

They were gazing at one such talent right now. Their red-haired Sect Master was a so-called Young Holy Child too after all.

"Of course, we can't be sure this person is a Young Holy Child. But, it's obvious that this world is preparing for the arrival of 'that' place anyway, I want all the talented disciples, no matter their origins, to be nurtured into powerful cultivators before 'that' place opens."

The faces of the Elders froze. 'That' place was a mysterious place that appeared in every new generation, filled with countless dangers, but also countless opportunities.

If one entered and exited, they were sure to jump a few great realms yet, not many were able to exit after entering 'that' place, not due to the dangers of 'that place but, mostly due to the dangers of the other-sect disciples of this world.

And because of this, the Heavenly Celestial Sect's Patriarch ordered for all his Sect's talents who could be titled Young Blessed and Young Holy Child, to be nurtured into cultivators powerful enough to exit 'that' place once they entered.

...

...

Similar to the Heavenly Celestial Sect, other supreme powers of this world also began preparing their disciples for the soon-to-be appearance of 'that' place.

But, certain Sects didn't stop at cultivating their talents. Harboring wicked intentions, they laid down plans to rid the world of possible future threats.

No matter the generation, when all supreme powers prepared to welcome 'that' place, it was the time when talents would find their luck skyrocket, they would find mysterious objects capable of helping their strength improve but, in this time, their lives were much harder to keep.

...

...

Inside the meeting hall of Limitless Sky Sect, many Elders, Grand Elders, the Vice-Leader, Sect Master, and two Overseers sat around a massive stone table discussing important matters that involved the future of the Sect.

"Let's stop talking about the useless stuff. We all know what we're here for and I think that, as the strongest Grand Elder, I deserve to lead the boy into a bright and limitless future."

As the master of a supreme talent who would most probably become a Holy Child, one would find themselves with countless benefits in the future. Because of this, many old monsters wanted a talented disciple who would gain such a title.

Cough!

Suddenly, an aged man with long grey hair garnered the attention of everyone present. He was the Vice-Leader of this Limitless Sky Sect. "Why don't you let this old bag of bones take him in as a disciple..?"

Thrum!

Immediately, all Elders and Grand Elders gritted their teeth. Even Jin was fuming as with the appearance of the Vice-Leader, there wasn't a chance in hell that Blade would fall under their tutelage.

"As an Overseer, I must not show any favoritism to a particular disciple but, I don't think any of you would be able to handle such a talent, why don't you let me handle things..!"

The same Overseer that once said it didn't matter who was Blade's disciple, she now shamelessly stated why she should become his master.

The body of the Sect Master twitched slightly. He too wanted Blade as his disciple, 'Surely, with his talent, he'll enter the Limitless Void World... If this happens, would I need to be scared of some mere Overseers of a Sect in a minor world?!'

The Sect Master was internally fuming with anger.
