Money Money

"Well, I am here regarding your father's willl." Sean said while addressing John.

John was finally calm after some time and the conversation had moved to Phil baker's will. John recognized Sean from his new memories. He was his father's lawyer and a trustworthy person.

"I have already read it to Amanda and now I am going to read it to you." continued Sean.

Then Sean proceeded to read the documents and tell him what he was going to get. Even though John was going to get a large amount of money, he could not feel excited. Instead he felt sad. He didn't know if it was because of his life was snatched up or because of his father Phil's death, but he was sad. His funeral had already been done 2 days ago.

He had finally came to terms with that he was transmigrated 16 years back in this Baker's body after the accident somehow. Even though Baker wasn't even injured enough to die. But none of this made any sense anyways, so he finally accepted his fate.

The will reading could be summed up in one word: Boring. It went on until the evening. The gist of it was that he and Amanda were going to inherit half of his 86% shares in Baker Industries.

"So that's it, that's my work done. If you guys need any legal assistance, I will be happy to help you." Sean said while looking at John.

John felt upset. He wasn't the old John but to be fair, he didn't know what to do with it either. So, it was fine with him, atleast he could get away with things he normally wouldn't.

"How much is it worth. I mean 43% shares?" asked John to which he heard the sighs of both of them.

"What? Did I asked something wrong?" asked John meekly.

"You don't even know what's it worth. You..." Amanda couldn't even find the words to finish the sentence.

"Your shares are worth approximately 50 million pounds, Jonathan." replied Sean in a matter of fact manner.

John was shocked. Even though he knew he was going to get a large sum of money, getting a concrete number still shocked him. He never dreamed of getting 50 millions. He just sat there for some time in shock.

"I want to sell my shares", John said slowly but in a determined voice.

"What?"

"Why?"

John was hit by questions from both of them.

"I don't know how to run the company anyways and I have a different venture in mind." replied John in a firm voice.

"What do you have in mind?" asked Amanda, annoyed.

He was always like this. He'll get ideas once in awhile, but he never sticks to any idea.

"I am going to invest in football. I have a plan in mind, but to follow it I need funds quickly."

Yes, he was going to buy his favorite football club, the Foxes. Football was his passion afterall. It was Nov. 2006, that means Milan Mandaric has yet to buy the club. His takeover led to the club being relegated to league 1, the third tier.He wasn't going to let that happen again. This time with money and future knowledge, he will turn the club into a dynasty.

"Do you even know anything about football. You don't even watch that much football", Amanda was on the verge of screaming.

John was startled. Then he quickly searched his newfound memories and it was true. But he wasn't about to back out, he wasn't just going to let this chance go.

"My decision is firm. Don't worry, sis, I am going to work hard and try my best. I am not always going to be a kid."

"But..." Amanda wanted to say many things but ultimately sighed.

"Okay, if you want to really do it, go ahead." that was all Amanda could say.
