1: Rikers Island

As a child, our understanding of revenge is as simple as a school saying. Moral slogans such as "Treat others as yourself." Revenge will not solve the problem. But revenge really can't solve the problem, because revenge will never be worth it.

When the crime is so deep someone has to pay for it. They say revenge is better served cold. But sometimes it can also be served as warm as a bowl of soup.

The sound of a stomping explosion in the middle of the night. The sound of the alarm echoed in every corner of the cell room. The cramped room with iron bars smells musty, dark, and suffocating. The screams of the cell's occupants were gradually getting closer. Screams filled the long hallway. They were running, scattering, elbowing each other for the sake of the wide-open barred door. Sally Pladys snapped out of her slumber and was not fully asleep.

"Hey you see what happened?!" shouted a woman who was in the cell across from the cell where Sally Pladys was locked up.

Sally immediately tiptoed with a noise followed by a second explosion. The skinny woman's eyes widened. "What are you doing? Get out quickly?!" shouted a female prisoner who was still wearing a prisoner's uniform. The woman brought a remote which then opened the cell door for Sally and the others. All the occupants of the cell along the passageway suddenly burst open. "What happened?" asked Sally confused and then her wrist was pulled by a woman she didn't know.

"There's no chance for you to ask. Take the time if you want to be free," the woman said between their fast steps and half running. Sally still didn't understand what was happening. A loud, thumping thud sounded for the third time, even louder than before. An explosion that seemed to be felt until the sturdy building of the prison trembled.

"We will be free!!!!" shouted one of the female convicts, which was then followed by the cheers of the other prisoners. Meanwhile, Sally is still trying to understand what happened. "We will be free!!! You see!!!!"

"Through this way!!!" shouted the others and Sally followed among them all. Free images popped up inside her head along with the metal door which opened after the sound of gunshots was heard which was then followed by the fall of several prison guards.

"They are there!!!" a scream from behind which immediately made all the prisoners panic. The atmosphere was chaotic and tense between explosions and gunfire.

Sally ran faster than ever, leaving the woman who had opened the door of the prison cell where she was being held. Sneaking through the crowd with her thin body. Even Sally had understood everything that was happening right now. "I have to get out of this place," she thought as she made her way through the prison doors into a clearing that was illuminated by floodlights from all directions. "Oh, shit!" screamed Sally while pulling one of the bodies of another female prisoner which she used as a shield to protect herself from hot bullets.

With great difficulty, Sally scattered along with the other prisoners who were desperate while some had been caught. "Help!!!" shouted a voice Sally could recognize. She turned her head, the woman who carried the remote prison door stretched out her hand while her body was held by prison officials with her large body. "None of my business," Sally thought as she started running again. She had looked around the prison and her mind had been searching for a way to escape, and now her observations had found a way. Sally knew behind the prison there was a hill without prison walls that was where she could escape. Crossing the forest and crossing a wide river that didn't know what she was going through.

"Wait for my revenge, Anderson," Sally Pladys hissed as she made her way through the prison walls with dozens of other inmates. A crooked smile with a sly grin.

"Stop you guys!!! Or we will shoot!!!" shouted the prison officers with long guns in large numbers. The people didn't budge. They ran, until they heard gunshots in the air, "DOOOORRR!!!"

Sally ran, dodging the hot bullets that shot fast from the rifle. The officers shot all the inmates indiscriminately. Ran and several others were caught even with wounds on their bodies. Sally kept on running breathlessly, bare feet and she didn't care, kept running with a lump of vengeance that had invaded her soul.

A few hours later.

"Me, Sheina Griffin and welcome to the Griffin of Justice." The voice of the presenter on television this morning, was then followed by a riot accompanied by an explosion from inside the prison on the island of Rikers. Very bad situation. People were running, they were all prisoners who could be seen still wearing bright orange uniforms with large writing behind their backs.

Shouts and everyone scatters. "We will report about the explosion from inside the Rikers Island prison that occurred last night. Until now, the alleged explosion is still under investigation," said Sheina Griffin, a senior host for a news station that specializes in criminal reporting.

They do live coverage from the scene. Several prisoners who were caught were seen lined up in a large field with super tight security. They could only watch from a distance. "Several detainees are still being searched because they can no longer be found in the prison building. For now, they are suspected of having managed to escape," said Sheina Griffin, who read a long narrative along with living coverage from inside the prison. "The following are the names of the prisoners whom we have not been able to find until this news is published. The prison authorities have put all their efforts to carry out pursuits to the edge of the island which is the only way to be free.

Rikers Island evokes modern Alcatraz. The island prison complex, located on the bridge from the Queens borough of New York City, has over the past decade become synonymous with mass detention violations, including violence by guards and between inmates and the routine use of solitary confinement. Nearly 90% of those held in prison are black and Latino, according to city statistics, and three-quarters have not been charged with a crime.

The name Sally Pladys appears in the list of inmates who have yet to be found. Sally is not alone. She was with several other prisoners. "The prison has confirmed the names we gave if they are the names of the prisoners who managed to escape," said Sheina giving further information accompanied by a large man in a black leather jacket. Creepy-looking man. The man was none other than the chief guard of the Rikers Island prison.

"Sally Pladys," Marsha hissed as her eyes stared straight at the television screen that hung on one of the walls in her bedroom.

Sally Pladys is on the list of prisoners who managed to escape from prison after the explosions and riots that occurred in the prison a few hours ago. "Oh my God, how could she---" Marsha mumbled along with her feelings that were suddenly filled with fear and anxiety.

The image of the figure of Sally Pladys who was detained in prison on multiple charges is now free to roam after the riots and explosions in the prison. "How could it be?" The question now filled the entire contents of Marsha's head. Marsha's gaze was still completely fixed on the television screen with the same news. The figure of Sheina Griffin, the presenter, appeared to appear by interviewing several sources who she considered capable of providing clearer information about the incident that occurred.

An unprecedented incident. Some of the names of the escaped prisoners are old prisoners who have served long years of confinement in the Rikers Island prison. But not with Sally Pladys, who has been confined there for months after judge Joan Hunt found her guilty of a series of crimes. Including faking her death. Judge Joan Hunt ruled that Sally Pladys was sentenced to life imprisonment. The decision was taken based on facts for the case of the premeditated murder of the Anderson family which killed the son of the couple Igor Bulgakov and Marsha Anderson, Czar Bulgakov. A murder was committed by breaking the brakes and damaging several parts of the engine of the car driven by Igor, causing the car to run out of control before the fateful accident occurred.

Not only that, one of Sally Pladys' crimes was the embezzlement of money at her agency, the Pladys Agency. The alleged embezzlement has cost many of the world's leading models and fashion houses. The demands made by the fashion house are increasingly burdensome in terms of punishment and demands. The evidence was revealed from the results of an audit investigation conducted by Marsha Anderson several years ago. The documents that had previously been sent by Delia Ashton were further clarified by the findings of Marsha's documents, which apparently had not been sent by Lucy, her sister.

Extortion, fraud, and money laundering are a series that has been complemented by strong evidence. The last case that dragged the name of Sally Pladys was the case of the abuse of the victim Olga Bianchi until she was unconscious due to a coma and also the kidnapping case of Marsha Anderson. For all these crimes, Judge Joan Hunt sentenced Sally Pladys to life imprisonment in Rikers Island prison.

The image of Sally's figure flashing in Marsha's memory was jolting and made Marsha Anderson shudder. "Is it possible for those convicts to escape from here?" Sheina asked the burly warden with a scary face.

"We can confirm that they won't be able to escape," the man replied before the sound of a cell phone rang out. The cellphone that turned out to be Sheina Griffin's. The woman's beautiful face was clearly shocked after opening her phone and quickly putting it back in. "Reliable sources say that there is still one name that has not been found, namely Sally Pladys."

"No way," sighed Marsha surprised by the narration conveyed by the host Sheina Griffin.

Marsha's world seemed to be shaken so violently, Marsha sat on the edge of the bed behind her with her beautiful eyes wide and her breath caught. "Sally," Marsha hissed stiffly and almost forgot to breathe. It was a horrible reality that Marsha had to accept before her phone vibrated and made her gasp in shock.

Marsha immediately grabbed the flat object and the name Nolan Ross appeared on the screen of Marsha's cellphone. Marsha's second ring answered.

"Have you seen the news this morning?"

"Yes," replied Marsha curtly.

"Sally Pladys managed to escape," Nolan said on the other end of the line.
