Lexi immediately noted that he had entered work mode and retreated yo her chamber

" You haven't read Mr the rest of my schedule Lexi' his husky voice interrupted her

" Both important and unimportant?" She asked

"And how are you to know which ones are important Lexi he said raising his head 

"I just guessed mostly on instincts" Lexi said

" Instincts..in business,now tell me everything on my schedule and tell me which one you deem fit as important" he said resting on his expensive leather chair

" You have a meeting with my Yao from the mining industry by 1pm I deem that as important so they won't embezzle funds do you need to check it yourself

You also have a meeting with miss Xiao zhan by exactly 2pm I classified this as unimportant as you may be busy with the mining industry by that time and miss Xiao is seeing you for her personal interests

And then....

"That's enough Lexi" Chris cut her off

" Did I say something wrong" Lexi said glancing through the files with her

" No absolutely not I trust your instincts Lexi you are a very fast learner I must say anyway do inform me when it's 1 so we would get to the industry early and change your shoes they are not going to be convenient at the mining site" he reminded

" Yes boss" Lexi said and escaped before he could correct her again

" Instincts huh this is no instinct this is pure talent" ,he said and remembered what she wrote in the meeting earlier he wanted to call and ask but he said he would do that in the car

Three hours passed and it was time for dinner Lexi checked and saw that Chris was not planning on getting anything so she had to make her move

" Do I order something for you"

"Yes please,ask Ryan about what I eat and get used to it"

"Okay" she said going to Ryan's cubicle

" She came back after thirty minutes with a delivery bag

" Did you order yours too"

" No"

"Why"

" It's f*cking expensive sir" she said gritting her teeth and remembering that this meal cost her entire salary

" Who said you would be paying for it"Chris said

"Still I'd rather cook from home tomorrow " she said opening the food and going back to her cubicle

' what is wrong with this girl is she managing money or what"he said cranking his neck again

" Sit it's time to..." But she didn't complete her statement seeing that he did not touch the food at all

"Is it time already " he asked gently

" Yes but why didn't you touch your food"

" I forgot" he said adjusting his tuxedo and leaving the office leaving Lexi to pack the food and follow him out

In the car

" What were you writing in the conference room" Chris asked staring at her

" Oh that I was writing based on my instincts again I that one of the head of departments was very familiar to me and I checked his name tag and wrote down his name" she said shrugging

" Familiar,who," he asked again

" Mr liu Yan"

" Who's that he asked Ryan

" Mr liu is the head of department of the PR Sector the sector for public relations" Ryan explained further

" I remember now" Lexi said furrowing her eyebrows

" What's it" Chris said noticing her darkened face

" He is a friend of Morris I'm sure of it he came to  our.. his house few times in the past they usually drank together but I think they were classmates or something " 

" Confirmed sir" Ryan said

" Huh what was confirmed", she asked 

" He is a classmate of Morris but he graduated a year later as a result of some family issues"

" When was he hired"

" He was recommended by your third uncle sir two years ago "

" We will talk about this later we are at the site already" Chris said leaving Lexi to her thoughts

How on earth could he find out he was a friend of Morris and why he didn't graduate within 1 minute Lexi said and followed them out of the car she was welcome by two men who led them to a cave like place

" Boss" a man in his late thirties with a pale blonde hair greeted Chris and looked at me I looked at him too and nodded slightly

" Stop staring at my wife" Chris voice rang out

" Wi wife " the man straightened his back and greeted Lexi properly 

" Young madam, I'm sorry for my impolite stare I'm dam the manager of this mining site nice to meet you"

"Lexi, nice to meet you too" she said and they walked deeper into the cave like structure a lot of workers were scattered here and there working at different places and they all stopped what they were doing to greet the bosses passing

Time soon flew and it was time to go home

" Aren't you leaving it's almost 8 and you didn't eat lunch" Lexi commented

" You didn't eat lunch either are you hungry should we eat out"

" No not necessary I'll cook at home" she said gently and started putting on her shoes

" Chris tidied his workplace and smiled gently this was the first time he left the office before Nine 

" Boss you are leaving already" Ryan could not help but comment

" Yes I can't let my wife go home alone right" he said shamelessly

" It's past eight already" Lexi commented pointing at the clock in the office area

Ryan just smiled and let them go after Promising Lexi he would leave in 20 minutes

" She sure is domineering" Ryan thought

Chris watched Lexi cook from a balcony and couldn't help but smile the smell of the food assaulted his nose and he suddenly felt hungry

" Dinner is served " Lexi's voice rang making Chris stand up to eat

" How is it" Lexi asked nervously

" Its good" he sighed wiping his mouth

Thank God Lexi said in her heart ,she was used to Morris complaining over everything she did that she was frightened that her cooking skills were whack

" I won't sleep in the same room as you Lexi at least not yet" Chris said and went to his study room making Lexi sigh in relief

Lexi slept well and woke up again with that alarm this Time she opened her eyes and saw a new phone on the table

" Eh when did he enter"she said grinning foolishly

Morgan enterprise

As Chris already travelled she came alone but she didn't forget to take the id card

" Ma'am please your id"the security guard asked Lexi

" Here" she handed it over and was allowed entry into the company she was still followed by a bodyguard and she made her way to the elevator only to find someone there this lady who was she

" Are you his personal assistant" the lady said pointing at Lexi"who are you" Lexi coldly retorted if there was something she hated it was spoilt rich princesses

" You,how dare you ask who I am do you know who I am"

" No that's why I asked" Lexi said

" I'm his fiancée" the lady replied

" Use the common elevator then" she said and srode into the elevator leaving the" fiancée dumfounded

"How dare she"the lady yelled losing all her elegance

" Young miss,do not worry as if Mr Morgan comes he would definitely punish her" her assistant said

" Of course I'm still his fiancée anyway" she said and strode out of the company in style

Meanwhile In the elevator

" Such a dumb woman" Lexi commented and the bodyguard nodded
