A Fair Day in Summer

The summer fair was held outside the Capital. On grounds that were prepared just for the occasion. It was a wide plain surrounded by forest on all sides and of the Capital on its eastern side. The western plains is where the fair is held. It is an event that required the cooperation of the merchant's guild, the city officials, and the royal family.

The Steward of the kingdom is the person who usually manages and organizes such events. And who would make a better steward than Prince Louis. The two week summer fair is under his management. All summer fairs in the past lasted only for a week, the change comes from the kingdom's recent victory in the war. It would be an additional challenge for him to keep the fair interesting. Thankfully, Louis will have help. The Seneschal of the kingdom, who would also oversee such events, his aunt, Duchess Janice of Aquitria, has arrived to lend her aid.
