Voices of Summer

Days later, the stage has finished construction. The summer fair booths, the shops, and gimmicks have all been laid out for the guests and the people to enjoy. The summer fair is two days away. All that are needed are the finishing touches, the decorations and the performances.

Duchess Janice and Lady Leonor of Aquitria formally present themselves before the court and informs Prince Louis of the rest of her plans.

"In the city of Magnolia is a singer, not just an ordinary singer, but one that can captivate hearts and minds," the duchess says to her. "If let her perform during the fair, it would be great for our prestige."

"You don't mean the Gypsy, don't you?" Prince Louis asks. He knew whom the duchess is referring to. "I've heard of her. A beautiful voice as clear as a bell and as sweet as a bird. But what concerns me is the church."

"So you would agree to let her perform?" the duchess replies.
