Usually I don't review based on grammar. But this novel is literally a SCAM. Free chapters are translated quite well, but beyond paywall translation drops to MTL quality. Names change, descriptions of stuff change, Her/him is mixed up and overall just bad grammar. Story could decent if it went on as it was for first 40 chapters. I would give first 40 chapters maybe 3.5, not bad, not really super good, but enjoyable. But since translation turns into trash suddenly changing names and stuff, it's just unbearable to go on. And really worst of all you are supposed to pay for it. I just sincerely hope nobody pays for this if they wish to continue despite the bad translation, just look for other options.

It's at 244 chapters at the moment and ongoing. No harem for those that freak over them, MC seems to have one possible love interest but no real romance yet. A backstory of the universe is slowly being revealed as the MC gets stronger but since it's not fully revealed it's hard to tell if it's a good one or not. Author gets around a lot of the usual racism by making Japan a client state of China and implying a lot of the China/Korea/Japan wars didn't happen.

I like the book but after chapter 40 the translation quality goes down immensely and at certain point they don't even upload full chapters. This isn't uploading half a chapter one day and the rest the next day, it's uploading half a chapter and then going on to the next chapter so you have no clue what's going on. This is unacceptable for paided for chapters.

it was ok first 40 episodes. then when it starts taking your money, everything turns into mtl. so save your money, and just read mtl outside webnovel. :)

The story starts off very well and progresses with fluid high points, but as soon as chapter 41 starts grammatical errors constantly appear. The biggest problem is the he/she description where a grandma is a he or the main character referenced as male from the beginning starts being referred to as she. Before publishing any writen literature get someone to proof read. If I knew how bad the book would turn out never would have spent the time to read.

everything was great till I had to buy the whole book. now the gender of character's is being switched or messed up in almost every other sentence.

i see no flaw in this book. There are emotions. There is a story. The only thing I'm not sur about is the development potential of the main character. I mean, he's already wise and steady, what evolution could there possibly be ? And without MC's personality's evolution, the story would be empty.

All five for now as its just getting started. based on the twenty chapters, I can see hints of astral petstore, and other beast taming genre novels.

Looks like the translator changed between chapters 40 and 41. The new translator is much poorer than the original translator, which is a shame as I was really enjoying this story. I hope the translation quality of chapters 41 onwards will improve.

I wanted to give this a shot but the translater didnt even bother to remove the html so the chapters are full of <p> and </p>. This doesnt give me much confidence concerning the overall quality of the translation and even if the translation quality is good the html is way to annoying to read this. pls fix

The story and writing is really good. characters are interesting and early signs of world building shows promise. The only major problem is once you start paid chapters there are a lot of problems with inconsistency. titles, names, and gender pronouns switch and change frequently. This is a quality issue. I don't know what happened but this isn't acceptable.
