Owen POV
The day hadn’t started terribly, but it had been three days now since Owen had seen Arion. He wasn’t having the nightmares of before and he wasn’t hearing her call his name, but he still felt a pull to her. William called it a longing, but it felt more than that. Besides, William had proven to be dense in all areas concerning the opposite sex or emotions at all.
He knew he would see her again and needed to respect her wishes in her being the one to reach out, but it was proving to be harder than he anticipated. Today wasn’t about that though. He was used to the pull to her.
Owen was in his father’s butcher shop, working more hours to help speed time up to get ready for the new shipment that was supposed to arrive that day. He had been hopeful that maybe Arion would come with her father, but the optimistic thought left his mind when his father had decided to come blundering in.
