“Oh, dear Ben. Just because I said some things out of fear doesn’t mean I don’t care about you and your world. That’s why I knew you would make it here. No one else has made it to this level. I’ve left hints and clues but when I saw you getting closer, I personalized it a bit.” She said as we all stood in the same position.
“What do we do now? Can we go home?” Grayson asked, I’m sure craving tacos more than anything.
“I can’t tell you what to do or not do. All I can say is to keep being yourselves. You all have remarkably powerful intuition. And of course, you can go home. I can show you guys the way forward when you’re ready.” She said warmly.
“What about our abilities? Do other people have things like that?” I asked.
“I’m honestly not sure. I didn’t write that into your characters. I’m guessing they developed after you found the first portal. Like a power-up of sorts. Any other questions? I’m open to anything.” She told us, holding onto the chair in front of her.
