An NPC's Reality

        After we all reconnected, we continued to learn more about ourselves and develop our interests and skills over the following weeks. I was sitting in the library with Romeo and we were talking about what’s been going on.


	“How’s your research going?” I asked him even though we were sitting right next to each other.


	“Pretty well. I’m currently reading about the manta ray. They’re quite incredible. What about you?” He asked me in response.


	“I love that. Mine’s going well too. I’m reading all about hawks. The flight patterns they have are fascinating.” I told him as I could barely pull my eyes away from the page. But once I made contact with his big chocolate brown eyes, I put the book down.


	“They are very distinct creatures. Why are you looking at me like that?” He asked, also putting his book down and turning to face me.
