Day by day

Days went by, Merry still hadn't had the chance to speak to Cole about that horrifying dream she had few weeks back. Also, she had wanted to speak with Cole about the unusual talk she had with Mrs. Miller.

Everyone including Cole were too busy to even stay in the dorm for long. They only came to the dorm to sleep. Even more so, they only slept for like five hours.

It had been almost three weeks since their new training started and they all looked like zombies. Not getting any break, not even a day of leisure, was taking a toll on all of them.

Merry was really concerned for her friends. But it was kind of worse for her, none of her friends had time. She would try to talk to them but it was hard to make any long conversations. It would always end in small talks.

Cole had showed his concern towards her several times.

"You, okay? It has been so long since we last talked. You must have felt lonely. We all go to the trainings and you are always left alone."

"No, I am fine. It's you guys, who suffer the most with all those constant lessons."

"Still, but it's not for long I asked my instructor, she told me this rigorous training is only for about two months."

"Two months?"

"Yeah, I was told it's going to take that much time."

"Also, I wanted to apologize. I have been so busy. I haven't even asked you, what you have been up to when you are all alone in the dorm," Cole said holding her hands seemingly feeling sorry.

"You don't need to apologize. I know it's hard for you too. Moreover, I am also busy," Merry said cheekily.

"Really! So, what has been keeping you busy?" Cole asked with a hint of laugh in his voice.

"I have been painting. I asked Mrs. Miller for canvases and paint kits," Merry replied.

"Oh! you have met Mrs. Miller?"

Cole was surprised to know that information.

"Yes, she sometimes asks for me to pay her a visit. We don't do anything special. It's more like a therapy session."

"She doesn't do anything else, right? Like giving you shots or testing on you," Cole asked getting worried.

"No, we only talk. She sometimes asks me about my painting or how am I feeling sort of like that." Merry reassured Cole.

"Then, I guess it's all good. But, if anything happens you have to tell me, okay!"

Merry really wanted to tell him about that dream as well but, seeing him this worried about her, it made her change mind. She stopped herself from sharing that to him. Also, she didn't have such dreams since then so, she thought it would be fine not telling him.

"Yeah, I will tell you if something happens. Don't worry."

That was the only conversation they had during that week. Once again, everything was like the weeks before and everyone got busy in their training courses.

And Merry was still visiting Mrs. Miller quite regularly.
