Moon's POV
I paced the length of my office, rubbing my temples as I tried to come up with a plan of action. I knew the pack was safe but I worried for Alex and Sun. They knew those two are my only weaknesses. I would never forgive myself if they got hurt. I could feel a tension headache coming along. I stopped my pacing as I felt strong hands begin to rub my shoulders.
"You need to relax Moon, everything will be okay," Alex said, slowly working out the tension.
I leaned into his touch, slowly relaxing. I could feel his scent calmed me further, and the throbbing slowly dissipated. Turning around, I kissed him, relishing in the sparks. Pulling away, I could feel something was off.
'Star, what's wrong?'
'Something is about to happen, stay alert.'
Before I could tell Alex, I dropped to the ground, groaning in pain. Alex quickly rushed to catch me, before also noting the pain. Scanning me over, he noted it wasn't from me.
Sprinting from the office, I ran out to the living room, to find Sun on the ground. Rushing to his side, it was obvious that someone had drugged him. The pain was from him hitting the ground. Looking him over, he seems just to be sedated. Why would he be-
"Shit!" I raced back to my office, sensing his distress from Alex.
As I entered, Lucifer sat on the desk, twirling an envelope in his hand. Upon seeing me, he fazed out of the house, smirking. Glancing around the room, Alex was nowhere to be found. I grabbed the envelope, revealing a single sentence, one that enraged me like no other.
Come and get him before it's too late ~Morgana
Crumpling the paper, I felt something snap. The power raced through my body, humming and tingling. Walking back to Sun, I took him to his room to sleep it off, leaving a note telling him to not follow.
I set off to end this once and for all.
Alex's POV
Once Moon had relaxed, we shared a tender kiss before she collapsed. It took me a minute to make sure she was alright, even though the pain was minor. She looked alright, then who- It must be Sun.
Moon raced out to find him and I stood before being thrown against the wall. Pissed, I looked at my attacker.
"Hello, little wolf. You have to come with me whether you like it or not," Lokan sneered.
"Like hell I will you b-," before I could finish, a small prick hit the side of my neck.
The drowsiness was intense, slowly everything felt like lead. I panicked, worried for Moon's safety before darkness overcame my senses.
Lucifer's POV
God, it was easy to separate them, I thought. It was a shame he didn't put up more of a fight though. As Lokan took him to our Goddess, I waited for Moon to return. I was sure she felt his distress. Not a minute later, she came running in, glaring.
I held an envelope in my hand and let it fall as I fazed out of the house. My plan was working perfectly. Once I had returned to the Goddess, she smiled at me.
"Well done my dear, you have made me to pr-," she began, before the prophecy began to shine.
Shock raced through her eyes, and I could have sworn I saw a bit of panic as well. As the prophecy began to dim, it never dulled fully. Shit, this means Moon unlocked her Goddess powers.
"Well this complicates things, at least we have her Guardian," she stated, walking over to the changed male. "I can't wait to have you watch as I kill your Mate. I am itching for her blood on my hands."
He growled at her, causing her to smirk. This would be fun.
Alex's POV
[During sedation]
'Well, this is unfortunate. I was hoping to have a bit more time but guess we have to do this now. Your weapons will be needed soon.' Sam stated, turning the mindscape into a training room. 'Ready?'
