Chapter 12

Its been four months and the twins and I couldn't have been closer, we are basically family blood or not.

We've protected each other and we've always been there for each other. We actually got tattoos as a family too. We got each other's wolf on some part of the body. Both boys have theirs on their arms while mine is on my abdomen right above the waistband of my pants. It smaller than the boys but I like it.

I've even taken them to meet Nick and Aiden. They hit it off as soon as they started talking about sports like most men do. It's just easier for men to get along when they first meet then girls.

Nick and I have also gotten closer and have become better friends. Along with Aiden they are like the family I never had the chance to have.

Being close to Jayden and Jordan I know how they ended up being rogues and they know my story and my secret. We promised to keep the story only between us and only us.

With that being said we were currently in Nicks office talking about my pack and how fast it's expanding and becoming the strongest pack. Other packs often find my pack a huge threat to theirs but we don't go looking for trouble.

My pack mainly consisted of 345 rogues that needed a second chance at life or wolves that were misjudged and labeled as weak and kicked out or mistreated.

My betas and I found each one of their strengths and made them stronger. We encouraged them to focus on their strengths in order to make their weaknesses smaller. Once they were ready and willing they joined our pack.

Our pack has been getting attacked because people underestimate me as an Alpha because I am a female. They think I am going to hide behind my pack when truth is I am always involved in fights. I am always the first to go into the war and kick ass, my pack is strong and will not go down without a fight.

"I know my pack is pretty big but it's not like..." I was saying to Nick but was interrupted by his phone ringing.

"Are you expecting a call?" I questioned him

"No, actually I have no idea who that is" Nick responded in confusion.

He picked up his phone and started talking to whoever was on the other line. I only heard half of the conversation but I could already tell it was about my pack.

"Yes I've heard of the new pack"

"They don't seem like a threat to me"

"They are stronger than your pack" Nick said smiling at me

"That's still not a valid reason to attack"

" I know I have a treaty with you but I also have a treaty with the Alpha of the Blood Moon pack and I will not go against either one"

"Yes, I agree. If you just sit down and talk to the Alpha maybe you can work something out."

"As a matter of fact the Alpha of that pack will be here in a couple of hours to discuss business, " he said as he looked at me once again this time with a mischievous look in his eyes and a smile.

I turn and looked at Jayden and Jordan and they look at me equally confused.

"You should come over I will inform the Alpha of you joining our meeting" he said before he hung up and looked at me smirking.

"Well it seems someone wants to make sure the new pack is not a threat." He explained smiling.

"And this someone is?" I said leaning back in the chair I was in not really too intrigued with where this conversation was going.

"Alpha Jose" he said the smirk still plastered on his face

I stood up so fast the chair I was previously occupying's fell backwards with a thud. My heart thumped in my chest just hearing his name and I could feel my wolf shift with in me as well. My fist clenched at my sides as anger replaced the empty feeling in my chest.

"What the hell Nick? Why would you tell him to come here then?" I asked the anger evident in my voice

"Its time you face him plus I know its best for you both if he told you what happened" he retorted placing his elbows on his desk and leaning forward the smirk no longer present and seriousness not only in his tone but his face.

This isn't the first time we've had this conversation but it always ended with me changing the subject or me coming up with some excuse to leave. I didn't want to talk about him especially with how we left things.

"It's not gonna make a difference my wolf was slowly moving on. You have no idea how bad I was when she tried to give up on me. If it wasn't for my brothers I wouldn't have made it." I said nodding towards Jayden and Jordan who were both growling at the mention of his name.

"Come on, I know what your thinking but you didn't see him when he came barging in here looking for you that day. Then when I told him you left, he broke down. He told me everything and if I didn't think it was good for you I wouldn't have said anything. " he explained himself and looked at me with pleading eyes

I couldn't stand there and argue with him because I was sure I was gonna say something that I was gonna regret and might end my friendship with Nick, so I exited the room with the twins hot on my heels. Once I was out of the pack house I shifted shredding my clothes in the process not caring as anger still resided within me. I started running into the forest and headed home with the twins still right behind me.

'You know it might not be a bad idea' Jordan said through mind link.

'It could provide closure and maybe he had a valid reason for his jack ass of a mistake' Jayden finished

'But what if it just makes it worse? He is after all my weakness. What if he tries to destroy everything we created?' I said worry flooding my brain at the thought of it

'Just remember you are also his weakness no matter who's mark he wears' Jayden said

'besides if he tries something Alpha or not he's gonna have to deal with us' Jordan said making Jayden growl in agreement

See what I mean we are always there for each other no matter what.

'Well, I guess we're going to have to tell Nick and Aiden we'll see them later tonight won't we.' I said making them howl in agreement as we continued our journey home.
