Nicholas knew he didn't have much time left to prepare. His brother would attack the borders soon, there were no reports of any suspicious movements, but Nicholas had a feeling it would happen.
He stood at the center of the room with his cousins, to his right were his uncle Isaiah's sons, Matthew and Philip, while to his left stood his uncle Malcolm's daughter, Kara.
"Are you really going to make them do this now?" Brie asked as she leaned against the wall and watched as Dion and several palace guards brought over four criminals.
"We don't have the luxury of time, Brie." Nicholas shook his head, he knew if they had more time he would have guided his cousins better with this technique, but he had no choice.
"Aren't you guys going to say anything? It's a very experimental technique and you're letting your nephew and children try it." Brie hissed at Nicholas' uncles.
"It's not dangerous, princess." Malcolm said as he smiled at Brie.
