As it turned out, having the giant statues was useful for more than their combat ability. They crouched down next to the humans and held out their hands offering them as a platform for the humans to get on to. Then, they placed them atop the cliff before scaling the face of the cliff themselves, driving their hands into the wall to create places that they could hold on to.

Once they were up, Gus led the others and the statues to the road that led to the outpost. The statues allowed him to lead them towards the base, but they walked a little bit ahead of the others who were there with Gus.

The road that led to the outpost was empty. There was no visible sign of any Bloody Dawn activity, not even any items that had been left on the path by some of the Bloody Dawn forces.
