Elisia woke up that morning, not finding her mother at their home. "Where is my Mom?" She asked Aurora, her mother's assistant, hoping she might know.

"I don't know, Elisia. Madam Marcia left early this morning." Aurora answered her with that no-nonsense voice of her.

She figured Aurora might be clueless just like her or just playing dumb and was not telling her. She did not like or trust her because she always told her mother about her activities.

However, her mother could be anywhere today. She was not just the Covenant Leader. She also ran a big Conglomerate, inherited from their ancestors for a generation.

Nevertheless, she was glad her Mom was not home because that would make her job a little uncomplicated. Not that what she had to do was easy in the first place.
