She entered the house first, noticing that the inside was too quiet with only a few lights on. It seemed that the doctor was not home, and there was no sign of Cathy and Kiev.

"I had a great time. Thanks for taking me out." Avana faced him as they stood by the door. She debated if she should invite him inside or just let him go on his way. Honestly, she felt conflicted about the way she felt about him. 

All the things she had discovered about him, the confusing, overwhelming feelings she had for him, and the current situations around her were certainly not helping her condition.

She needed time to process everything and consider if accepting his marriage proposal was a good idea. It did have its pros and cons, but which option was better? She still had to figure that one out.
