"No." He responded as his lips grazed through her temple, leaning even closer.

"Then, why?" She closed her eyes as electricity coursed through her body with that slight contact of his lips on her skin.

"So, I can claim you as mine."

"Are you going to allow this to happen?" Connor questioned the Supreme Alpha after announcing to the entire body what Adam and Avana had told him.

He could not accept the fact that Avana would reconsider marrying that monster. He hoped that now that Avana was back in the pack, she would finally consider marrying him. It was not what he expected when he came here today.

"Yes," Grego answered the young Alpha's outburst. "It is what Avana wants." He informed everyone who he believed had many unanswered questions in their mind. "I hope you will give them a chance to explain their plans."

Grego acted as her daughter's advocator as he showed his support for her plans. He wanted to pave the way once her daughter and the Prince presented themselves before everyone, clearing the air for them.

"I think we should let the two explain themselves before passing judgment." Diana agreed with Grego.
