Chapter 3 We Are Going to Divorce

Wright frowned and stared at her for a long time before she got into the car.

Ivy Klein snorted and followed him.

While Lancer Wright was driving, she looked down at her phone and found that there were few friends on her social software. There were almost no opposite-sex friends, and every moment she posted was related to Lancer Wright.

There were pictures about his side face and his back, and even words were full of him.

The words "darling" and "husband" often appeared.

Husband? She looked at the man who was driving next to her in surprise and wondered if she had crashed her head in the past five years and why she had become a woman only in love?

She squinted at Lancer Wright. She had to admit that this man was indeed very handsome. His side face was firm and handsome, which made her heart beat faster.

He was driving a famous-brand car.

Well, he was just a little handsome and had some money. That's all.

For such a man, it was not worth it at all.

She disdained to delete all these annoying photos and words.

"Get off the car."

Before she could delete half of them, the car stopped. The man's cold voice came through, "Don't talk nonsense when you go in."

Why didn't he let her speak after the divorce?

Ivy Klein didn't want to talk to him anymore. When she opened the door, she was stunned.

Why was the hospital in front of her?

Were people going to the hospital for divorce five years later?

She looked back at the man behind her and asked in surprise, "Why do you take me here? Do you need to go through the divorce procedure in the hospital?"

Without answering her question, Wright strode towards the hospital.

Ivy Klein couldn't figure out what he was thinking, so she had to follow him.

After passing through the long corridor of the hospital, they took the elevator to the senior ward area. Seeing this, she was even more confused.

"Knock at the door."

Soon, Lancer Wright stopped in front of the door of a ward and stepped aside, motioning for her to move forward.

"What are you doing?"

She was really confused by him. Seeing that he was still angry, she wondered if he was making fun of her! She went straight to the door and knocked two times. She wanted to know what was inside and she had to knock on the door on purpose.

"What the hell do you want? You - ah!"

Before she could finish her impatient words, the door was suddenly pushed open, and two black shadows flew out accompanied by the sound of "see-saw". Something smashed her in the face.

Ivy Klein was shocked and didn't react at all.

Seeing that something was about to hit her face, her waist was suddenly held by a strong hand. She fell to the side and fell into the man's warm arms.

Bang!

Bang!

Two muffled thuds fell on the back of Lancer Wright, and two apples rolled onto the ground.

Ivy Klein was completely confused.

Lancer Wright looked down at her, but there was still no expression on her face.

"You... Thank you, thank you." She said dully.

"Okay," said Lancer Wright. He let go of her hand around her waist, turned around, and said respectfully to the people in the room, "Grandpa Kent."

"Why are you here again?" The old man's strong and angry rebuke came from inside, "Where is Ivy? Why don't you bring her here? I don't want to see you!"

Was he looking for her?

Lancer Wright turned around and said, "She's right here. Kent, your two apples almost hit her."

"What? Come on! Let Ivy come in and let me have a look!" The old man's voice suddenly became excited.

Ivy Klein touched her nose awkwardly. Thinking of her dressing today, she looked at Lancer Wright awkwardly.

It's not appropriate for her to meet the elders in this dress!

Ignoring her, Lancer Wright walked inside.

Ivy Klein felt embarrassed. She didn't expect that this man really didn't care about her! She stood at the door and dared not go in. She could only look inside carefully.

"Ivy! Oh, my baby, you're really here! Hurry up! Let me see how you're doing recently."

The sunshine fell on the bed from the window. The old man with grey hair sat there and waved at her excitedly.

Seeing his loving eyes, Ivy's heart trembled slightly. In an instant, she felt that the old man in front of her was very kind. He should love her very much.

The uneasiness and strangeness in her heart were dispelled. She walked to the bedside and sweetly called, "Grandpa."

"Okay, okay. Come here and let me have a look. Ivy, you look different today." The smile on old Wright's face couldn't stop. He held the hand of Ivy and chatted with her. He kept a satisfying look.

Ivy Klein was a little embarrassed by his gaze. "I... I knew I would come to see grandpa today, so I specially changed my style. Grandpa, do you like it?"

Hearing this, Marcus Wright glanced at her and smiled.

The banter in his eyes was clearly seen by Ivy, but it quickly disappeared.

"Well, well, of course, I like it! Ivy, whatever you like, I will do as you say." Wright laughed heartily and sat down with her. "You are so kind. You know you often come to accompany me, not like someone!"

Old Wright glared at Lancer Wright. Seeing that he was sitting comfortably on the sofa and reading a newspaper, old Wright was so angry that she threw an apple to him. "What are you reading? Can't you talk to me for a while?"

Ivy Klein was a little surprised. She didn't understand why old Mr. Wright seemed to treat her much better than Lancer Wright.

Did old Wright propose their marriage?

She stole a glance at the man next to her. Sure enough, he just silently avoided the apple that was smashing at him and did not mention the divorce.

"Ivy, tell me, how are you doing recently?" Old Wright smiled at her.

"... Not bad."

She looked at the wrinkles on the old woman's face and the expectations in his eyes and lied against her heart.

Old Wright was still in the hospital. He didn't know that her marriage with Lancer Wright was just a contract.

Ivy Klein probably had guessed why she married Lancer Wright. Perhaps it was because old Wright was in poor health and wanted to see Lancer Wright get married. At this time, she appeared and Lancer Wright chose her, so they got married.

"Are you speaking for him?" Old Wright was a little unhappy. "If he doesn't treat you well, just tell me. You don't have to speak for him!"

"Kent."

Lancer Wright stood up and wanted to say something.

"What are you doing?" Wright glared at her and said, "I'm talking to Ivy. What are you talking about?"

Ivy Klein, "..."

Lancer Wright frowned and didn't say anything more. He just looked at Ivy with warning eyes.

She turned her head and pretended not to see him. After all, this man had bullied her today?

"Ivy, don't worry. As long as I'm still alive, no one in the Wright family can bully you. If Lancer does anything wrong to you, just tell me. I'll help you!"

After saying that, old Wright snorted at Lancer Wright, warning him.

Ivy Klein also looked at the newspaper, but there was no response from them. With a cold face, they sat on the sofa and read the newspaper again.

What a bastard!

Seeing his calmness, she thought of the scene where she was pressed in the bathtub to get wet. She immediately put on an aggrieved look and said, "Of course, I don't want to leave you, but... But Lancer still wants to divorce me this morning."

"What?"

Old Wright's face turned red with anger. He got out of bed and hit him with her crutch. "You bastard! You want a divorce? I've only been in the hospital for a few days, and you can't wait, can you?"

"Kent, calm down!"

With a darkened face, Lancer Wright dodged the crutch and said, "You know why I got married. I've already told her the time. We'll divorce as soon as the time comes."

"You"

Kent Wright still wanted to scold him, but he suddenly covered his chest and fell back in pain.
