Chapter 4 Her Little Angel

Ivy Klein was so frightened that she hurried to help him. "Grandpa, what's wrong with you?"

"Nothing." Old Wright grabbed her hand and winked at her secretly. She turned around and groaned, "My heart hurts! I'll be pissed off by this bastard sooner or later!"

At first, Lancer Wright wanted to help old Wright up, but when he saw that the bedside device didn't change at all, he quickly realized what was going on and said helplessly, "Kent, I got married for the sake of my child. Now Michael is three years old, and I have never hidden my relationship with Ivy, so divorce will happen sooner or later. Haven't you already guessed it?"

What?

What child?!

Ivy Klein was stunned. Did she seem to have heard of the child just now? The child was already three years old?

Did she get pregnant before marriage and marry Wright because she had no choice?

Five years later, she already had a three-year-old child?

"Kent, I'm here to see you!"

Before she came to her senses, a childish voice came from outside. With the sound of footsteps, a beautiful boy in a black suit ran in.

He had a beautiful face. He looked puppy-fat, somewhat like Lancer Wright.

"Oh, my baby, why do you come to see me today?" Hearing the voice, old Wright got excited. He stretched out his hands and waited for the boy to pounce on him.

The little boy's eyes were full of smiles. He ran past Ivy and rushed to old Wright.

Ivy Klein was a little surprised to see that the child's eyes looked like hers.

Noticing her gaze, the little boy who had just gotten into Wright's arms turned around and looked at her in confusion. "Why do you look so much like my mommy?"

"Uh..." For a moment, she didn't know what to say.

"She is your mommy." Lancer Wright added.

"Really?" The little boy's eyes lit up. He withdrew from Wright's arms with both his hands and feet and looked at her up and down.

After confirming that it was his mother, he excitedly threw himself into the arms of Ivy, with admiration in his eyes. "Mommy, mommy, why are you wearing this dress today? Are you playing as a superhero with daddy? Is daddy very happy?"

After asking Ivy Klein, he turned to Lancer Wright and asked, "Daddy, do you like mommy more than yesterday?"

What was going on?

Ivy Klein was dumbfounded by the question. She had no idea what was going on with this family.

"Ha-ha, Michael, you are such an angel." Old Wright smiled and said, "Come here."

"Okay!"

Michael Wright released Ivy Klein and ran towards old Wright with short legs. He climbed onto the bed and got close to the old Wright's ear, "Mr. Wright, you have to recover as soon as possible. I hide my snacks every day. When you are fine, we can eat them together."

"Michael." Lancer Wright went close to him. "You can't eat snacks anymore, or you'll be too heavy."

Michael Wright looked at him pitifully with tears in her black eyes.

"You bastard! How can you talk to a child like that?" The old man picked up the fruit on the plate and threw it to her. "Do you think you were good-looking when you were a child? How dare you dislike Michael's fat? He learned all these from you!"

"Kent, this is the nutritionist's advice. You don't want anything wrong with Michael, do you?" Lancer Wright frowned.

"Shut up! I don't want to listen to you!" Kent Wright didn't look at him anymore. He held Michael Wright's hand and said, "Michael, don't listen to your father. Do you know that he wants to divorce your mother today?"

"What?"

Michael Wright's eyes widened and soon turned red with tears. "Waah... Waah... They can't divorce. If they divorce, I will be a child without parents."

"Baby, don't cry."

Seeing him like this, Ivy Klein felt like her heart was stabbed by something. She quickly walked up to him and held him in her arms. "Daddy and mommy won't abandon you. You are the most lovely baby in the world. We divorce just... just..."

Michael Wright looked at her eagerly. Seeing that she was hesitating about how to explain, he could not help blinking and asked curiously, "Mommy, why did you say that? You didn't act as the script."

"What script?"

Ivy Klein didn't understand what the child was talking about at all.

"There is no script today." Lancer Wright went over to pick up Michael Wright. "Your mommy has lost her memory," he said coldly and directly.

Upon hearing this, old Wright and Michael Wright stared at him in disbelief. They couldn't believe what they had heard.

Was... Was amnesia today's new script? But they didn't receive any notice.

"Ivy, you... You lost your memory?" Old Wright sat up and looked at her for a long time. Finally, he asked hesitantly.

His eyes and tone showed that she had played such a trick before, and even the old man couldn't believe it.

Thinking of this, not to mention losing her memory, she had even committed suicide many times.

As the cooperative partners of Ivy Klein, old Wright and Michael Wright had witnessed almost every time, so they naturally had doubts.

If she really lost her memory, they really couldn't react.

Ivy Klein was a little embarrassed by their gaze. She scratched her head and said, "Yes, yes, I do forget a lot of things."

Old Wright frowned and said thoughtfully, "I see."

"Mommy, mommy!" Smiling, Michael Wright jumped off the bed and pounced softly on Ivy Klein. He held her thighs like a bear and said, "Do you still remember your favorite baby, Michael Wright? It's me. I'm Michael, the baby mommy loves most!"

His big watery eyes were still staring at her.

This pair of eyes looked like hers very much. Now when he looked at her with such clear and dependent eyes, her heart melted in an instant.

He was so cute!

If she had doubted if she had given birth to a baby before, she wouldn't have doubted it anymore when she saw Michael Wright acting like a spoiled child with such eyes!

There was a wonderful and magical connection between the mother and the child, which made her fond of this baby soon.

It didn't matter whether she would divorce Lancer Wright or not, but this little angel must stay with her!

"Honey, I really don't remember many things, but I know you are my dearest baby." She squatted down and kissed him on the cheek. "You're so cute. My little angel, you're my treasure."

"Wow!" Michael Wright's eyes lit up in an instant. He wrapped his arms around her neck and shouted excitedly, "Mommy, you still remember me!"

"Of course, mommy will always remember my little angel."

While saying that, she kissed his puppy-fat face again.

The two of them were kissing each other, which made Michael Wright giggle.

Old Wright glared at Lancer Wright, motioning him to come over. He asked in a low voice, "Ivy doesn't remember anything. Do you still want to divorce her?"

Lancer Wright didn't say anything. Instead, he looked at the two who were playing happily on the ground.

According to the doctor's diagnosis, the reason why Ivy lost her memory was directly related to him. He really couldn't just let it go.
