Silence permeated the atmosphere. Both Leah and Nathan were thoroughly absorbed in their thoughts. At this moment, they were the only ones aware that the Man-eaters were approaching from behind.

A portion of the barrier facing the seashore was compromised and at this moment, yet another Man-eater horde was making their way into the tower.

"The tower would be destroyed soon at this rate." Leah mouthed solemnly. Nathan glanced at the screen once more. The Man-eater horde was rushing in without end.

"We lost…" He slowly breathed. He put his arm up to report but did not say anything. "You should report this."

"Do you think we can win if we tried?" He seemed to be looking for something as he turned to face her. "I have no idea…" Leah answered honestly.

In such a situation where Nathan was completely helpless, what could she do?
