This Place Isn't A Cave.

Her lashes fluttered gently as consciousness seeped back into her after a long night's sleep. She touched the other side of the bed subconsciously and a cold sensation teased her palm. Her brows twitched and her sleepy face morphed into a frown and she felt the empty bed space further but no one was there. 

Lena moved her eyelids and eventually opened her eyes lazily. Her eyes flickered to the space beside her where Alexandro slept the night before but she did not see him anywhere. 

"Alex?" She muttered as she pulled her body up into a sitting position. She looked around, checking if she would see him anywhere. 

She furrowed her brows and pulled the quilt away from her body. Judging from how cold the bed was, it shows that he had left for a while. She raised her hand and brushed the strands of hair on her face behind her ear.

"Where did he go so early?" She pondered and absentmindedly bit her lower lip.
