AJ, Archer, and Benjamin were behind a bush getting ready to attack a Demon dead mutant that was absorbing a red crystal. Its flesh literally consumed the crystal as red, electric-like charges absorbed themselves into its large body. " I can already smell you from there, humans."

  " Get down!" The Demon dead opened its large mouth and let out a red beam of energy that went for the mutants. Luckily, they avoided it on time but the Demon dead wasn't done yet. Its body was still reacting to the crystal's effects. It swung its thick tail at them and shot red, energy balls at them. They successfully and easily dodged them but then, the Demon dead quickly shot another blast through its mouth at Benjamin. Benjamin couldn't dodge it, so he used his shield to try and deflect the attack.
