Devilish exhilaration

Yawn!

The woman stretched in front of me and smiled rather radiantly.

Five times-

We'd one it five times!

After the second time, I was pretty much spent yet- yet- she kept on going up and down and left and right- it was horrible.

Junior could take no more.

Yet-

She just kept going.

At one point I thought I was going to die…

The horror!

Heaven?

Oh, no, no, no. This was hell!

HELL!!

My downstairs were so sore I couldn't even stay seated properly…

But I'd do it all over again…

"That was one of the best ones I've had since my hundred and tenth birthday." She chuckled.

"How old are you again?" I tried to not squeak out the words.

It should be midnight outside- but even now I could hear the Harpies raging around, trying to find a mate.

They weren't allowed back in town till the season ended and they also weren't allowed to leave the country either- so-

Yeah.

"174, why? How old are you?" She didn't seem that reserved about age and all.

'Demons live really long, huh?'

This woman- tall- slender- breasts a bit larger than average- was to me- looked pretty much twenty-five. That's it.

Definitely not 174.

And also, divinely beautiful.

"Oh, nothing really. Also- I'm 20."

"Twenty?" She chuckled. "I see, so you're 120."

"Uh- no. I'm 20. As in, just twenty."

She blinked twice- with both eyes. "You're serious…?"

"I am?"

"Holy shit…" She went rather quiet for a second. "HOLY SHIT! I HAD SEX WITH A MINOR!" And then she started freaking out.

"Calm down, humans are adults at 17."

"What, really, you sure?" She came close and kind of just patted my body, while looking way too concerned. "I didn't hurt you or anything? I'm so sorry!"

Apparently, this was normal.

During mating season, Harpies kind of lose their minds and become sex fiends and then they lay their eggs. After that's done- they come to their senses and- well- yeah.

On that note- this Harpy had laid exactly five eggs.

Basically, all my kids.

The eggs won't need any warmth from their mothers and would eventually hatch two years later on their own.

When I'll be very dead.

Wonderful.

Oh well.

"I didn't catch your name," I said.

Definitely trying to change the subject.

"Amamiya."

"Um…uh- what should I call you?"

"Amiya?"

'But Miya sounds way better…' Anyway- "I'm Bre-" Wasn't I going to change my name? Should I just go with something edgy? It'd be easy to make people laugh at it and let their guards down and- sigh. "I'm Brendalor. I'm a prince. Or rather, was a prince. You can call me Bren but- I plan on changing my name to… hmm… Vain!" Halfway through I kind of gave up…

"That name sucks," A flat rejection. "Also- a prince? Hmm… and you want me to accompany you because-"

"I want to take over the world." Yeah, I wasn't going to be dejected just because my naming sense was kind of odd.

I also didn't hold back.

After all, she was going to be my first companion… minus the cats, so the least I could do was be frank with her.

Besides, it wasn't like I was trying to hide my intentions.

"That's a very bold ambition. You sure you can do it?"

"Well, it's either take over the world or die trying." Or maybe destroy it so no one could enjoy the world?

I mean- they were certainly options…

She chuckled. "You do seem fairly powerful but-"

"Oh, don't worry about it. I'm getting stronger by the day. And I'm not kidding. So- you in?"

She sighed. "I already gave you, my word. Whether be in heat or no, my word is absolute. As long as there's life in you- and you don't deviate from your goal- I shall accompany you." She smiled- "Both as your recruit and- mate…"

She bent her head forward, spreading both arms like she was swimming or something.

A demonic bow.

Which was good!

Yesh!

A lot of singing and flashes later!

Something new appeared in the bottom left corner of my vision.

A transparent window- mildly detailing the two cats, Amiya and me.

"Wait- did you say mate?"

Smile- a charming smile!

'Cute!' Very mature- very cute!

Devilish even….

'So that wasn't just a one-time thing…?'

Exhilarated!

'Damn those are clean numbers…' At this point, my arithmetic couldn't even keep up.

But just like the mother cat- she was stronger than me.

Not as much as the mother cat- but definitely strong and definitely better leveled.

Actually- even the kitty cat had almost the same health as me despite being heavily under-leveled.

'Maybe humans just have less vitality?'

Yeah, we didn't have time to worry about all that.

Rather-

I barely stood up- drank a crude potion and headed deeper into the cave.

It'd been quite some time since the cats went in but they weren't coming back.

"Did you like build this cave?" I asked.

The entrance was closed and she wasn't bothering to open it. Actually, she wasn't bothered at all.

She did wear all her clothes- but stuff were a loose fit and given the fact that we were sweating…. The sight was not good for my sanity, no… her scent was also- still…

Gulp!

"No, it popped up on its own and I just used it." Amiya could make a floating ball of light- so we used that as lighting.

'Yeah, you don't seem that concerned though…' Were Harpies dumb or something?

As for the cave- it was pretty wide and the walls were well defined- leading me to conclude- 'Someone definitely made this…'

And given the fact that we were in fact demon territory, I had a feeling this was the work of underground goblins.

Or maybe ground trolls?

In either case, the numbers were almost always going to be astronomical- so this wasn't something I wanted to waste my time at.

Besides- I barely had like 97 days left!

'Wait-'

A fork in the path!

The path was divided in two.

Both dark.

Both kind of not fun looking.

"You can take this light," Amiya said, setting me as the new host of the light ball and making a new one for herself, before promptly taking the other path. "Don't die."

She didn't even let me say a word- no.

Or rather, I was too shocked to even say something.

Sigh.
