God on top of an Offertory Box

Whenever I see an offertory box, there is always the hope that maybe I could encounter someone important.

I could do well holding my breath if it's someone with a malicious intent. Otherwise, I could retain my personality if it was someone I could socialize with. I'm sure you'd call it the standard approach towards communicating with others, may it be a kin or not.

If it was Teori Tadatsuru from Monogatari Series, one who shares my love for Yotsugi Ononoki─the cutest tsukumogami ever─he would be "one of the people who sits atop an offertory box" I would want to meet.

Then, how about the others?

Now that it is offered to the plate, there were no other memorable characters aside from him.

I recall I may have seen many of them.

But in retrospect, all of them are only part of my imagination.

In certain cases, as a writer, but most of the time, simply as a pathological imaginator.

For one: Benzaiten, the patron god of literature and music.

He is bound at Inokashira Shrine.
