The Writer's Corner, #2: Characters (Spoiler)

Catalog of Characters ~ the Seven Gods

I'll spare you from the trouble of misunderstanding what the story is about: the Seven Gods don't refer to the seven fortune deities of Japanese mythology but of the character having seven variants himself.

* * * *

#1, Shirayuki Otogibanashi

Otherwise known as Snow White, Yukihime, Shiro, or Nii-chan depending on the conversation partner.

Snow White for the general public, Yukihime for his school's student body, Shiro for his family, and Nii-chan for his fake little sisters.

He's the main perspective assuming narration of most of the story: the escapist protagonist who'd avoid each and every trouble haunting his way unless there's no way out.

Stereotypical trap, Yukihime has long, white hair, and a feminine face and build, thus the nickname. Widely acclaimed as the Strongest Mage bearing the household name, Snow White: adored by the community, despised by his school, and highly regarded as both dangerous and beneficial by the government. As opposed to Mages worshiping Spirits for their magic, Yukihime has the power to command Spirits instead. Publicly known to wield Black Magic but since he tampered with Chaos Magic, he has been able to conjure all kinds of magic either listed or unlisted. Chaos Magic paralyzed his face from showing emotion thus appearing stoic all the time.

#2, Shirase

Yukihime's dissociated personality who randomly emerges in one of his ventures, presenting himself as his other half as they were consciously rendered prior to a Chaos Magic dilemma.

#3, Shiranui

A variant who's suspected to be from the future.

Unlike the belligerent combat style employed by Yukihime, Shiranui wields a rapier at an insane proficiency level matched with his mastery over portal-based Space Magic.

#4, Mashiro

An immediate alternative variant from the near future, Mashiro has been captured by Amaryllis Mendoza, the writer of Snow White and the Seven Gods, into her thrallhood.

All due to his butterflies having "screamed", he is freed from being expressionless and gains access to the data of their simulated universe.

#5, Morgan Myers

After an untimely death during the warring period, Shirayuki Otogibanashi is reincarnated as Morgan Myers, the crowned prince of Whiskerhelm.

Herein, Shirayuki Otogibanashi is displaced in the far future situated in the Sirius star system. He retains his physical features alongside his consequential magic data, granting him the cumbersome miraculous claims after being struck by disaster the day he was born but cheats death hours prior to the mysterious event.

From childhood to his reign as Emperor, he assumes the name Grimm as inspired by the Brothers Grimm.

#6, Snow Emperor

During his reign as Emperor of Whiskerhelm, a series of unfortunate events─as usual─led him to excessively use Chaos Magic.

Losing control of himself, he unconsciously subjects the entire planet in an ice age.

#7, White

After regaining control, he turned himself into pure cosmic energy.
