Last Chapter ─ Miss Desperate Piglet

Rain─and the creaking noise of the window woke me up, and a look over the clock told me it was already daytime.

Tepidness crawled into my skin that I discarded my blanket, whence the gentle pitters and patters from the outside woke my senses up. While an unexpected downpour by the summer, it wasn't a rare phenomenon that I would be revisited by curiosity.

What began was a slightly different summer day.

Although it was the time for students to enjoy their lives over beach or mountain trips, I only stared at my coffee mug intent on filling it up again. Or else, I would walk to the kitchen and grab myself an energy drink instead. I may have caught an ample amount of sleep while staring at my computer, but whatever pressure my subconscious entangled itself onto prevented me from falling into true sleep.

There were no plans to go out, and the damned bright light of a panoramic monitor was in hindsight.
