Chapter 26: Saving the Teammates
Then we step into the hall and at this moment Rank7 Goblin started to appear inside the hall from the air and within a few moments more than 300 goblins appeared inside the hall.
Then they started to attack us, I then commanded Suzzy and Jerry as we started to kill them but due to their rank and number, we started to get injured more and more.
At this time, we are fighting almost more than 30 min still we didn't see the number of goblins get reduced a single bit.
We are almost a few minutes early from running out of mana, Jerry also had to fight in the front line as he didn't have any mana left to use his guns.
Suzzy is also not looking good as blood was gushing out of the wound and those shitty goblins are linking the blood out of the ground that is coming out of Suzzy.
Watching this scene gives me a chill around my spine also my situation was not that good compared to theirs still I can handle them for a few more minutes.
I then started to think about some ideas I can use to create a situation so that Jerry and Suzzy can get out of here but we are surrounded from everywhere.
Also, I don't have that much energy left to create a path for them.
At this time, I am almost sure that we are going to die still we will die while fighting not like some coward in fear.
Suddenly I felt a huge surge of mana burst from my left side in my whole life I never even felt this much fear even when I was in front of the head of the Rank8 department.
Then I know for sure if this is our enemy, we don't stand a chance I then lose my motive to fight and the same is applied to Suzzy and Jerry.
I then collect some courage enough to look towards my left side and when I looked there is only one thing left in my mouth.
"We are safe"
Then with just one attack, Jason killed nearly 20 goblins almost like butter that we can't even kill a single one in 5 min.
Jason then comes towards us and said something at this time his world feels like an angel's voice.
"There is no need to fight further I will take care of this you guys go and take some rest" Jason said
Listening to his words we all three just nodded and collapsed on the ground.
Then someone approached us from behind us so we got alert but after watching her we got relieved again.
Lily then started to use medicine and tools to heal us but my eyes didn't leave Jason for a moment.
With each attack of Jason at least 20 goblins are getting killed for some moments I don't believe that this was the same Jason who is in the same rank as me.
I don't know if after he disappeared, he got this power or if he is hiding his power all the time but whatever it is he is on our side that is what I want for now.
Pov shifted back to Jason
As I was killing them, I noticed that if I kill 15 goblins the exact number will be spanning the next moment.
I then noticed a small orb on all 4 corners of the hall so I guess that I had to destroy them to stop it from happening.
To do this I had to kill the horde in front of me then I increase my power but then I noticed that the spanning started to get lag and the maximum number of it can span is 30 goblins.
Then I approached the first corner and destroy the orb which made the maximum number of spans to 25 goblins.
Which made my guess confirm then I approached all the corners and destroyed all the orbs.
After I destroyed the last orb all the goblins turned into dust at once.
Then I approached my teammates and sits beside Bhim.
"It's good to see that you are alive captain" I then said to Bhim.
"It's thanks to you" Bhim said then he lighted a cigarette.
{Author Note- Cigarette and Alcohol is bad for consumption, Don't try to imitate them at home or at any other place}
"You better be" I replied and started to laugh.
Then my expression turned serious "Bhim I guess that you didn't find any Track of Mark" I asked Bhim
"Not a single track I hope he is alive" Bhim replied
"You don't have to worry about that I know him for a lot of time and he is more courageous than he shows" I said to Bhim
"You guys rest I am going to scout the area" After saying this I then get up beside Bhim.
As per they told me all the paths are leads here so there had to be some path hidden here which will lead to somewhere important as the security is not normal at all.
Then I started to search the area I then saw that two of the floors get somewhat uneven after I destroyed all the orbs I moved the floors aside.
"Guys I found where we had to go" I said as I found stirs that leads down somewhere.
"We will be moving in 10mins" I said to all my teammates as I think I don't have much time left.
"Let's go, guys, time is up we had to go" I said but just as we get ready to move I heard footsteps from one of the paths that lead here.
Finally, the last member of our team joins us that person is none other than Mark.
"So, the hero decided to show at the last moment" I said when I saw Mark
"Sorry guys" Mark said in embarrassment
"Looking at you doesn't seem that you had any problem so I assume that we don't have to wait any further" Suzzy said sarcastically
"I got lucky as I used my skill to avoid most of the problems" Mark said while scratching his head in embarrassment.
"Ok guys you can talk on the way" Bhim said
We then descended the stairs and entered an area totally different from all the places they saw on the surface.
