Chapter 27: Person inside the door
"I got lucky as I used my skill to avoid most of the problems" Mark said while scratching his head in embarrassment.
"Ok guys you can talk on the way" Bhim said
We then descended the stairs and entered an area totally different from all the places they saw on the surface.
What shocked most of us was that not only the area was as new as it can be but the whole area is built with metals and it looked like they entered inside the brain of an ai robot.
Metal pipes at all sides of the area carry some sort of liquid just like how blood carries through nerves all over the body.
"Guys don't touch anything here let's just follow this path and see where it will take us" Bhim said
"I think this is some sort of area from where all the things are getting controlled just like a heart or brain" Jason said
"Same here I also think this but don't you think how amazing it is those people that built this place are no more alive and how powerful they are that they were able to build this place" Suzzy said
"Huh and still got perished with time" Mark said sarcastically almost as if he hates this place to his core.
"It's amazing and at the same time scary to know this, don't you guys think how they got perished thinking about this gives me chill" Lily said
"Do you guys think it will be safe for us to go forward if those people got perished then how the hell do we handle that?" Jerry said with a hint of fear in his voice.
"You are not wrong but do you have any other idea to get us out of here" Jason asked
Listening to this Jerry lowered his head in shame as he really don't have any other ideas currently.
"If you don't have it then stop being such a P#### and so some courage and even if you are right, do you think whatever that thing is still alive after this many years" Jason said but now a hint of anger showed in his voice.
He already knows that mark is 100% right about his institution, wherever this place is taking them that place will be a battlefield a battle that he and all the others will remember for their entire life.
Jason doesn't want to tell them right now as it will not only raise a question about how did he know but it will also crush their will to fight.
Jason can already tell that most people here are scared deep inside of them except him and mark but still maintain their last willpower to some courage on their faces.
Nobody here wanted to be the person to crush the willpower of the other person due to their fear so as a professional They still main their courageous look even when they are scared deep inside of them.
So, Jason doesn't want to become that person nor he wants Jerry to become that person right now when they are almost near the final battlefield even though he is the only one who knows about that.
Jason did this even when it shows that he was not a truthful type of person but he is what he is as he is not a hero so if he had to sacrifice something to save all their race, he will do it without thinking twice.
"Mark check how much further we are from the place that it is taking us" Jason said
"We close very Close" Mark said with a smile almost as if he was eager to enter that place.
Jason noticed this that made him think how the hell Mark was not only calm but also excited even if he was being 100% truthful, he was also sacred but this man was excited almost as if he was meeting his lost lover after 100 years.
Jason decided to put this matter in the back of his head as this was not head, this was not the time or situation for it.
They continued their walk while continuing their talk among themselves to ease each other.
After walking for another 10 mins they finally reached a gate but this time it was simple and elegant at the same time.
"Looks like there is some sort of scanner over there" Mark said pointing towards the location.
Jason then went towards the place and when he was just a few inches away from the thing suddenly a blue scanner scanned his body and a needle pierced his body and takes some of his blood.
It happened so quickly that even with his current power he isn't able to react at all.
After scanning his body and taking some blood all the things retreated at once and then the door opened up on its own.
"So, it seems like it just needs some scanning and a little bit of blood to open up this door" Jason said jokingly.
"Should we get inside?" Lily asked.
"No, we will make a camp here, are you out of your mind off course we will get inside" Suzzy said sarcastically.
"Follow me" Jason said
Then he steps inside first and the rest of them follow in his footsteps.
"It seems like we all are wrong, Huh" Jerry said
As the inside was completely opposite to what they have been thinking, it was some sort of research laboratory that is filled with thousands of books, experiment tables, and experiment subjects no one knows whether they are dead or alive.
Many more things that they don't know about.
"It seems like it but we still didn't search this whole place and the other thing is don't even think about touching anything" Jason said
"Lily and Suzzy make a video of this place and take some photos also and remember always be near where our eyes can see you" Bhim said
"Guys look here it is a hologram vision" Jerry said
Then suddenly a hologram of a person appeared in the lab court wearing a white court but his facial features are unrecognizable.
"Hello everyone" Said the person wearing the lab court
"What the fusk" Everyone said at the same time with an awe expression.
