Chapter 39: 2nd level of Pyro Infernal reached?
If he dies, what could a man do when he is dead? Does he care, does he regret who knows as a dead man can't tell a tale?
All of these thoughts proceed through Jason's mind didn't even take more than 2 secs to make up his decision as he already made up his mind.
If either way he is going to die then why not take them all with him at least that will make him feel good.
Let's do this. He said before starting to eat something that he takes out of his pocket.
Activating the second level isn't as simple as the first level. It required special acts to do before activating the second level.
What Jason eats is one of the mentioned acts to do before activating the skill.
This material is one of the most important items to activate the skill if before there is a 90% chance of failure then without it is almost 100% of failure.
It was a blood-nourishing plant. It is a special and rare plant that he never read or heard about in the explorer department.
If not for mentioning everything about this plant in the skill book, then he was sure that he never would have known about this.
To produce this plant, it needs a constant high blood supply for at least 100 years within a cold atmosphere.
At first, when he read the plant description he thought that he never would get this plant in his entire lifetime.
During a mission a few years earlier thanks to his luck or stupidity whatever you can think of he somehow stumbled upon this plant.
Those particular moments, he will forever remember in his mind as he never thought that anyplace like that can ever exist.
If you ask him personally about the scariest event in his life then that event for sure comes in his top 10 even with how horrifying his life went after he decided to pursue his college in India.

Why this plant is so important because of its uses as its increases the volume of your blood inside your body for a few minutes.
If he had this plant with him during his fight with Rotarr then he was damn sure that he can easily activate the skills even if the mana will be the same as in any other place.
He didn't have anything with him except his weapons that's why he was not sure if he can activate the skill.
The main drawback of the skill is that it consumes vitality and energy at an exponential speed that for only at the 1 level.
It totally changed at the 2nd level as not only did the speed to consume the vitality increases a lot but if you don't maintain the same vitality at all times then with each decrease of vitality its increased its speed by 10 times.
So, if you don't maintain the same vitality then you will die within at most 2 secs even if you had the vitality of an elephant.
Here comes the blood-nourishing plant as the name suggests it helps the body to produce and maintain the same level of vitality for at most 1 min then its effect disappears.
So without it using the second art is the work of a nitwit.
When he first gets these plants he thought to use them only to activate the first level in a life and death situation that's why he always carried them with him at all times and all places.
Even with these he only gathered 3 plants in his entire life so you can think of their rarity in them.
If he is successfully able to activate the skills then at most he would have more than 3 minutes.
The first plant that he found is more stronger compared to the rest of them but he didn't know by how much that's why he count it as just more than 3 minutes.
Jason decided to consume the less strong one first and leave the stronger one for last, it can run as a security measure for him.
Just like if he takes 3 minutes and 1 sec to finish all of this, it will help keep him alive in this situation.
After eating the first plant a surge of power run through his body but without wasting a single sec Jason started to run the breathing circulation.
Meanwhile, Glendin is sitting beside the teleportation device while closing it as if he is thinking something inside his head.
For a creature of his looks and posture, this seemed quite odd but despite that everything going on inside the room didn't leave his sight.
Still, he didn't even show even a tiny hint that it is going to participate in the battle.
Jason watched all this and for a moment he understand that his position in the eyes of Glendin is the same as in the eyes of Rotarr while he was fighting both their underlings.
It is quite a bit damaging to his pride that both his enemy showed as if he is not even to bait an eye.
Even then he didn't get angry as he knows his place.
Till today what he thought of knowledge that he gathered isn't even worth mentioning in front of anybody, even they will laugh at him.
After today if he gets alive out of here he knows that he had to start a new journey to get to the true knowledge he feels both shameful and hurt a lot.
If anybody would have been in his place either they get angry or totally lose their motivation to pursue higher but he had a curse that make him feel more energetic.
If a 2nd dimension lowest hell creature is this powerful he can't even control his smile to reach ear to ear knowing how much knowledge he can know.
Still, the Glendin totally ignored his behaviour but the same can't be said towards the creature fighting with Jason.
The creature suddenly started to feel a deep fear creep inside of him from Jason. The reason is they are made with the same body that Jason killed a few moments ago so still, a little bit of their fear remained inside of him.
Another reason is that as Jason circulate his breath the aura around him started to increase exponentially.
It's an aura that can't be seen by any human but as a demonic creature, it can sense a little bit of aura around him.
The reason he can sense it can also be caused by the small body part of the Glendin inside him but whatever it is he had a feeling that if he didn't attack Jason.
Then he will not be in a good place after that. Also being somewhat of a monstrous being it can't stop himself further and attacks Jason like some wild animal.
Instead of evading the attack, Jason remained still as if he can't follow the speed of the attack and without anyone stooping the attack the spear easily pierced Jason's left should.
It didn't stop there, the spear comes out of Jason's back but didn't do any damage to Jason's heart as he get an order not to kill Jason and even then Jason didn't react at all.
Watching that Jason didn't react at all the creature got more daring. He then takes the spear out of Jason's left shoulder and attacks Jason's right leg this time.
Jason still didn't react at all and the spear again easily pieced Jason left thigh and come out of the back.
The creature this time got more daring and decide to attack Jason at the much closer ranger and aimed it at Jason's right hand to immobilise him.
He got much closer to Jason and attacked Jason's right hand but this time just when he was about to pierce it, he suddenly felt a life-threatening danger and all his senses started to scream at him to fall back as fast as possible.
