Chapter 40: Finally death arrived

Chapter 40: Finally death arrived
The creature this time got more daring and decide to attack Jason at the much closer ranger and aimed it at Jason's right hand to immobilise him.
He got much closer to Jason and attacked Jason's right hand but this time just when he was about to pierce it, he suddenly felt a life-threatening danger and all his senses started to scream at him to fall back as fast as possible.
A few moments ago, Jason started the breathing technique within moments he activates the 1st level without any problem his strength also started to rise along with his skill level.
He is not familiarised with the skill it takes him more time to reach the borderline between 1st and 2nd level and he is just a single process away from reaching the 2nd level.
So, without further ado, he started the most important process which is reversing the direction of mana flow inside his body using the breathing technique.
Just when he starts the process a sudden surge of pain arises in his body as if millions of needles were flowing through his skin, veins and nervous system.
He knows that he can't able to bear this much pain for much time before his body gave up but he also knows that the option to give up is nowhere and from now it's either he continues this process until he reached the 2nd level or gave up midway and die.
At this particular moment, the creature attacks him but when he tried to move his body, he found out unable to do so and the spear pierced his body.
Unexpected to him he thought that he will feel pain but instead the pain he was feeling before gets a little bit less.
Still, he is not sure that it was caused by the injury he received.
So, the actual truth is not that Jason is not moving but it's actually that he can't move.
He knows that the creature can't kill him as he gets the order to only mobilize him but he didn't want to take the words of his enemy seriously as who knows at what moment his decision changes.
The other reason is if he let the creature more that it will get boulder and boulder and eventually cut off his entire arms and legs which he totally doesn't want to happen to him.
Even if Jason doesn't want to do it he didn't have left any choice other than to increase the speed of the mana circulation.
When he does that again the pain increases but this time it is bearable enough that he knows if he is not fast enough then even if not the creature kills him but this pain will surely do.
Suddenly again another attack come towards him and just like the first one he isn't able to move which let his body get pierced very easily and again suddenly the pain he is feeling got a lot less.
Jason just like the first time increased the speed of the mana circulation and little by little he gets near to the 2nd level.
Just like what he thought of the creature got more daring and bolder this time it gets much closer to Jason but instead of piercing his body with the spear.
This time it decided to cut off Jason's right hand which he totally didn't want to happen to him when he is so much closer to achieving 2nd level.
Jason knows that if he didn't do anything right now then even if he gets to 2nd level, he can't do shit with a single hand even to this creature much about thinking against Glendin and saving his race.
If not now then it's never, Jason thinks in his mind and using all his strength he increased the speed of the mana circulation as high he can and along with it the amount of pain increased so much that it shut off his brain.
At that particular moment, the advanced EkG machine on his wrist stopped and showed a straight line which conforms Jason is already dead.
At this time, Glendin opened his eye and watch Jason for a moment before returning back to his previous posture.
{A/N: EKG or EGC is the short form or commonly used name for Electrocardiography}
Meanwhile, the creature already attacks Jason's right hand just a few inches away from cutting it off suddenly it felt an intense life-threatening danger and all his senses started to scream all at once to fall back as fast as possible.
The creature quickly retreated back but it looks like even his speed is much slower than whoever the attacker was.
Suddenly before the creature can realise a spear along with a hand can be seen flying across the room.
They are non-other than the creature, he is fast enough to save his life.
The creatures backed away a few feet backwards and finally saw who is responsible for all this.
It's non-other than Jason who was deemed dead according to his EKG watch a few moments earlier but currently, his appearance is more lively even compared to the most healthy person in his world.
All the injuries no matter what type is nowhere to be seen on his body but his appearance changed slightly as his body tone showed a greenish effect as if he is pumping with thousands of litres of blood.
The reason is non-other than the blood nursing plant which is producing blood inside of him at an exponential speed and even faster than that it is getting consumed by the skill he currently is using.
The ranks are only rumoured to be exited but currently not only has he come to know they are real but he also feels the effect of not only 1 but 2 of those ranks in one single day.
What he thought before to be impossible he currently feels the strength flowing inside of him, that's right currently json is not at rank 10 but he is at the middle stage of rank 11.
For a few secs, he feels like he can crush anything in this world but the expression of the Glendin is enough to get him to know his place before he can get consumed by power.
The power he reached today he had to thank Rotarr, all the monsters and the Glendin that are after not only his life but also his whole race's life and last but not least the person who gave him these skill to him.
If not for him neither he can be currently standing here but maybe he will be lying dead inside some sort of place already.
Currently, it's not the right moment to get happy or to thank everyone responsible for what he gained today but it's the time to save him planet future.
