I admit. I'm a little nervous to show Riri what I'm working on at the moment. She'll be the first one to ever see it. I don't know why I feel like it's a big deal for me. I usually feel confident about my work, but just like the other day when she saw my home studio, I keep wondering what her thoughts would be.
We stop before turning a corner and I pull her to the side where there aren't many people. She watches me as I take out a handkerchief from my pocket. I unfold and fold it into a triangle, and then wrap it around her head, covering the bottom half of her face—the bottom skull design strategically placed on her face. Then I pull the hood over her head to keep her hidden, fighting the smile that's threatening to form on my lips when I realize that she's wearing my jacket.
"What's this for? We look like we're about to rob a place," she comments but doesn't stop me.
"I can't risk anyone seeing you. No one knows this side of me, remember?"
