Eavesdropping

After Jason showed me around the campus, I was really tired and all that I wanted was to have my beauty slumber. Jason had some things he needed to do after so, he isn't around and I love it when he's not around but at the same time, I despise it.

I walked straight to the bathroom and took a shower after that I brushed my teeth and after cleaning my teeth. I went back to my room. At this point, I hate wearing my pajamas so I put on a long t-shirt. There's a soft knock on the door and I'm too lazy to check who it could be. Jason is not close to being seen, so I guess I will just have to get the door then.

I open the door to a sublime girl with brown eyes smiling back at me "Oh, Kate!" I say smiling back at her.

I let her in " what brings you here?" I have a question.

"I'm here to see Jason, "she says.

"Oh, um actually" before I could finish my statement the door swung open revealing Jason, and the moment he set his eyes on Kate his face lit up, Great now she was going to moan his name all night, I shake my mind off the thought.

And suddenly I'm being pushed off the way as she wraps her arms around him. oh great now they want to be lovey-dovey in my dorm as well." Oh, um I will be in my room", I sent myself off before any of them could respond.

I could hear some chuckling from my room and I guess they are having a good time. I just don't know where this jealousy is coming from but I need to get myself together before my feelings take control of me. Something about Jason was just so off, I mean not in a bad way of course but just the way my heart beats whenever he's around.

I Hate to think about what they could be doing together right now cause it's so quiet now. Should I go peep through and see what they could be doing in there, I mean I'm not sleepy at all so I could just waste my time minding their business as well.

I drag myself off the bed, I find myself standing in front of Jason's room. What am I doing here?

I hate myself for doing this right now but here I am sneaking around trying to eavesdrop on what they could be doing in there. There's no shuffling anymore, could they be sleeping? I move a bit closer now placing my right ear on the door with my two hands both on the door.

"Are you trying to eavesdrop?" I don't put much thought into the words so I turn to face my left side from the dining direction only to see a figure standing. I ignore the thought that it could be Jason, so I continue with what I was doing before.

"Wait a minute", I mumble under my breath, dragging a hand to my mouth, wishing that the person standing a few steps away from me isn't Jason.

"Are you trying to eavesdrop?" he chuckles.

I jump at the sound of his voice, Damn this is so embarrassing.

He laughs louder than before.

I quickly start acting like, I've been searching for something on the floor but who am I kidding, Jason very much knows that this is all a pretense, I mean he must have been watching for some time now.

I gather my strength and turn to face him, shirtless and as beautiful as ever.

"I-I um, I think I dropped something on the floor" I stammer.

"Are you sure, you dropped something" he folds his arms to his chest.

"Y-yes," I say.

"Well it didn't look like you dropped something, to me it looked like you were trying to eavesdrop" he chuckles.

"Well, I think your eyes deceived you," I say.

"If you are worried about Kate, she has already left, I mean that's the only reason you would sneak around trying to eavesdrop right" He smirks.

I roll my eyes at him.

"Did you think, I would be fucking her brains off" He looks at me with a devilish smirk? I hate it, especially when he gets that Look.

I frantically start looking around "Oh, please like I care" I state.

"Oh, really," he says, coming towards me.

I take a few steps back.

He passes by me entering his room with a chuckle, thank goodness he didn't think of doing anything stupid, I sigh.

I've been caught doing the most hilarious thing of my life. Why was I even eavesdropping? I can't even face him right now, I hope he doesn't come out of his room anytime soon. So Kate went "Oh, my goodness" Marie put yourself together, I closed my eyes and sigh.

I don't even have the energy to go and fetch myself a glass of water to drink not, especially after what happened, I might choke myself from drinking it and find myself in the ICU, I drag my feet and walk back into my room quietly and shut the door behind me, I quickly turn off my lights and crawl into bed and grabbed my phone from the nightstand, tapping on the home screen there were missed calls from my mom and a few messages from her.

Tapping on her messages ready to reply to her, my phone rings, and for a moment I jerk to the sound of my ringing tone, It's her "Hey mom" A smile takes over my face when I hear her voice.

"Hey, darling" I could feel her smile too. I wish I was there to see her smile. It's one of the best things I love to see in this world, My mom's smile.

"Darling, I missed you so much that's why I called," She says on the line and I know she does miss me so much, I mean I do miss her too.

" I miss you to mom, Where's dad?" I ask.

" Well, he's on a business trip, honey," she says.

Sometimes I don't understand what business my dad does honestly, I remember when he would always go out in the middle of the night and my mom, would try her best not to let me know where he would be going, His business is kinda odd for me, and I can't get what kind of business my dad does till date.

"Back to earth, honey, what's wrong?" I hear my mom and I snap out of my daydream and back to her "I'm sorry mom, what did you say?".

Before she could answer I heard a soft knock on the door "Mom, I'm going to call you back I think Jason's at the door" with that, I dropped the call and turned the light on while dragging my feet and walking towards the door.
