I Can't. I'm Sorry!

Olivia made a beautiful bride, if a nervous one. Laney had been nervous on her wedding day too but for entirely different reasons.

It was sad. This was supposed to be a happy occasion. So why was her best friend struggling so much when she actually got to marry who she loved? Laney had been struggling because it was all fake.

Everything was going according to schedule. They were all in the bride's room currently making sure all of the last-minute touchups and whatnot were taken care of before the processional began. When the music started, they all took their places to head down the aisle.

Laney's worry only heightened when she could see Olivia beaming as she made her way down but it didn't reach her eyes. That much was obvious when she handed off her bouquet at the end of the aisle.

Laney stood there trying not to shift nervously and keep a smile plastered on her face as the ceremony began. That was more difficult to do in heels.
