Outsider

Addison actually really liked talking to Gwen. Though she didn't mind when the conversation shifted to a group one either. All of Jacob's friends seemed pretty nice so far.

She may be an outsider here but no one treated her like one even if she didn't know what they were talking about some of the time. They all really did hang out a lot, didn't they? It was obvious listening to them.

Her twinge of jealousy was back. She wanted friends like this. But how was she ever going to make them when her trust in meeting people naturally had been broken? The only reason she wasn't afraid now was because someone she trusted had vouched for them.

Addison couldn't trust her own judgment anymore. She was afraid she would always be expecting anybody new she met to be secretly horrible and out to get her.

Was she really going to spend the rest of her life alone because of it? She didn't want that!
