A new world

Slowly opening my eyes, the sun light almost blinds me. Pain spread from my eyes to my temples and I groan tossing the sheets off of me. Everything blurry, my hands slam against something metal and I look up. In front of me is a grand mirror with jewels and gems deep inside it's good metal. Rubbing my eyes, my eyes started to focus. Looking at myself, my heart dropped, the person I was looking at didn't look like me. My skin as dark as coal, my once brown 4A hair is semi straight and night black. My lashes white and thick and my eyes black and green. I couldn't recognize myself at all, grabbing onto the silk white night gown. A woman walks in, with a bowl of water and towels.

"My lady! What are you doing up? Are you excited to meet your husbands." The maid said ushering me from my mirror and in front of the water.

"What's going on? Who are you? What's today?" I said gripping onto the metal court.

"My lady please be still, I have to brush your hair 200 times or it'll be unruly later." The maid said sighing.

"ANSWER ME NOW!" I yelled slamming my hand, scared and frustrated all I wanted was answers.

"Please. Please. My lady, you getting ready is really important. If you aren't the most beautiful lady, your father will have my head." The maid voice barely over a whisper, I take a deep breath and started washing my face. Causing her trouble won't do me anything, she'll answer my questions when I'm done.

After she got done brushing my hair, she slipped me in a beautiful white and baby blue dress. It's silk straps draped over my shoulders And I see a  large scar from the back of my shoulder to my tail bone. It's covered with white roses, but I could still see the jagged mark. Looking up, the maid dust me with a powder that smelled of chocolate and rose and added some type of gloss on my lips. My hair descended down my shoulders to my back as the maid add clips and small trinkets to it. Whoever body I'm inhabiting must be loved or at least not completely abandoned.

"Maid, how old am I this year?" I asked as she put me in heels. I look pretty young so the heels took my off guard.

"You'll be fourteen in six months my lady. It's currently April thirteenth, year Two Fifty." The maid said happily.

Nodding as I listen to the soft voice, I frown. "I'm fourteen? Why am I getting married? I can't even drink! How can I consent to a marriage?!" I yelled pushing the maid away.

"My lady, it's okay. It's just marriage bugs. With parent approval early engagements and marriages are all the rage in Noble families." The maid said slowly walking to me, i glare at her slowly walking back.

"Why multiple though? Why are selling me off if I'm a noble? What are we? Broke?" I said dashing towards the door, I open it to see men with swords standing in front.

"My lady! The duke will be extremely upset that you've said that! Guards grab her!"

Dodging the hands of the guards, I lift the dress and rushed down the marvelous halls, decorated with decades of family portraits and paintings. My heels clicking against the floor, I look frantically around as the guards and maids started to corner me. Dashing to an open window, i look over to see a large group of people. It's at least two stories, the most I'll get is a broken leg. Biting my lip, I look down wondering if I'm actually gonna do this.

"My lady! Oh my god!" The maid faint and the guards and other maids slowly inch closer.

"Lady Delovet, please come down." A guard said grabbing my hand.

Yanking my hand away, my heels got stuck on the back of the ledge and I fell backwards. Curling in a ball,"Someone please catch me!"I scream.

Expecting a hard landing, it was surprisingly soft and actually warm. Pealing my eyes open two boys look at me with shocked faces. One with black hair and the other one blond. Their hands cupping my face, something changed in there eyes as they stared at me and something told me to run away.

"My lady! Oh goodness! Are you okay? Your highnesses good morning." The maid said rushing towards me, engulfing me in a hug.

"We weren't expecting our sons fiancé to fall out the window. Lady duke, we would like to speak to your father." One of the men said looking like the blond.

With bright blue eyes, long blonde hair and a chiseled face. He's the most beautiful white man I've ever saw. It was like staring at the face of a book written Angel. Looking at the boys they were little copy and paste versions of their fathers. The maids ushering me back inside I couldn't help but sense that something was wrong. Not from the boys, but from the adults, they don't want me here. It's best if I act clueless for now.

After the maid who I now know is Ruby, gave me a stern talking to. She guides me to the grand doors of the meeting about my marriage between the two boys. Ruby seem more stressed and worried than me which is a sign that my father aren't the easiest towards me. Squaring my shoulders, I walk in and as if my body was on autopilot, I bowed. Looking up slightly, my lips twisted into a smile. "My name is Anisa Delovet, daughter of ArchDuke Anthony Delovet."

"Ah so the little one do have manners, and here I thought you raised a ill mannered child, Your dukedom." The blond said smiling.

"Now I'm curious on why such a refined young lady was flying out a two story window." The black haired one said scanning my face.

Clearing his throat, the man i assume is my father stand up. A man with dark skin, pure white hair and lashes walked towards me. His eyes cold, he smiled as he offered his gloved hand to me. Staring at it, the sense of dread overcome me as I slowly place my small palm into his. "My daughter, these are your fiancés parents, they are extremely important people from other countries. King Author and his Knight Sir Winfred wanted to make sure their sons have the bond they have so they thought that them sharing an important person will help their strained bond."

Looking at the two men that subtly took glances at each other. Something was amiss, why would two powerful men think it would a good idea to have their sons engaged to the same person? The oddly close seating, the subtly hand touching, It seems to me that the two is trying to hold onto their secret affairs. If there sons do get married separately it would be hard to explain why a knight is constantly with the king. Though, they could possibly say Sir Winfred is there to protect, their small exchanges where obvious. While though I wouldn't shame, love who you want to love. Their desire to be together is overshadowing their sons happiness and more importantly mine.

"Your majesty and sir, you two seem to be quite close. Where are the queen and Sirs wife? I feel I'll be more comfortable to speak with femininity here."

"Ah! Well! We~"

Watching them squirm under a simple question was interesting. Looking at my father who wasn't so amused pinched me hard under the table and I wince yanking my hand away. Giving me a glare I close my mouth and let this man do all the talking. Looking at the boys, their eyes met mine and I smile at them. The blond frown at me before angrily turning their head and the other other one nod at me before taking out a book. Perching my lips, I look at my hands trying to figure out what I'll do when I marry them. I have a feeling that my life from now on will not be peaceful.
