8. Starting to Have a Gap

Daniel didn't care if his eardrums burst due to Emilly's screams that didn't stop. He was still walking past the towering old trees. Daniel glanced at Emilly who was raising his hand to cover his yawning mouth, then slowly leaned his head on Daniel's chest.

"If you're sleepy, just sleep!"

Emilly shook her head, occasionally she looked up to see Daniel who didn't seem to mind holding her. The image of an ignorant Daniel is replaced with a romantic Daniel. Emilly often hears from other students that Daniel often has relationships with different girls. She believes that Daniel is on the list of guys to avoid. Emilly didn't want to feel hurt a second time.

Emilly shook her head with a small laugh, surprised at her own thoughts. She yawned again and glanced at Daniel who was still focused on the road in front of her. Her eyes began to close, until finally closing, bringing her spirit to move to dreamland.

"Emilly!! Daniel!!!"

The screams of his group mates resounded. Daniel immediately looked for the source of the sound around him, but the bridges of his friends' noses were not in his vision.

Emilly who felt her body shake in Daniel's arms finally woke up. "Daniel," Daniel looked down at Emilly's eyes, which still looked sleepy. "Put me down, okay?" She pleaded.

Daniel nodded then slowly let go of Emilly's knee until it hit the ground. Emilly immediately stood up, but the pain was still slightly felt in her right leg.

"Are your legs okay?" he asked.

Emilly nodded her head.

"You can walk, right?"

"I can!" Emilly took a small step, creating some distance between them.

"Come on, sweetie. When?" Daniel raised his eyebrows. "After coming home from here, huh?"

Emilly was silent for a moment, her eyes narrowed at Daniel. Her right hand reached out to pinch Daniel's stomach.

"It hurts, sweetie." Daniel winced in pain.

"Whatever!"

Alan walked closer from behind Daniel's body, Emilly immediately stood up straight averting his eyes from Daniel. "Oh my God! We've been looking for you for a long time, and it turns out you're both here."

Emilly glared. "No, he's the one who kidnapped me here." She grumbled. "Keep me away from that strange creature," Emilly raised her hand and pointed at Daniel's face. When Daniel wanted to bite Emilly's index finger which was pointing in front of him, Emilly had already run behind Alan's body to ask for protection.

Alan chuckled softly. "You're crazy, Daniel, what are you doing?"

"Just feel it a little."

Emilly looked at Daniel sharply. Daniel immediately covered his own mouth, avoiding Emilly's fierce tantrum.

"Alright, then continue the path! Your group is waiting under the tree." Alan pointed to a group of nature-loving Student Members who were sitting, massaging their legs stretched out in front of them.

"Yes," Emilly immediately ran leaving Alan and Daniel alone.

"Find a little safe place to get dirty, Daniel."

Daniel smacked Alan's head slowly. "Your brain is perverted!"

"Already pressed his lips but only silent, enjoying a lot. Hahaha..." Alan chuckled, then ran after the Nature Lovers Student Members who had continued their journey back.

Damn it, where do you see him from? In his heart Daniel asked.

Emilly sighed. "Wow, this is really cool," His feet stepped on a large rock under which clear water flowed. Emilly arrived at the Mount Slamet waterfall. She really loves the universe that God created. The calm atmosphere made Emilly feel more at home in beautiful places. Unlike her brothers, Bobby is also in the same university as him but he prefers to participate in sports-related activities.

Daniel walked towards Emilly who was standing at the edge of the waterfall. When Daniel was right behind the girl's body, his arms wrapped around Emilly's slender waist.

"Sooo romantic."

"Ah, crazy! Daniel is so sweet!"

"That girl is too flirty!"

"At least it's just Daniel's new toy."

Emilly let go of Daniel's grip in annoyance. When she heard the words of some of her Members, she felt sick and her ears became hot. "Let me go!"

"Yeah, I won't let go."

"Don't make trouble!" Emilly rebelled in Daniel's tighter embrace.

Emilly seemed to think for a moment. A crazy idea crossed her mind, she wanted to prank Daniel. Emilly smirked, then her eyes were left closed and her body collapsed in Daniel's arms.

"Emilly," Daniel let his thighs to support Emilly's head. "Sweetie, wake up!" The look on her face showed deep concern for Emilly.

"EMILLY!" Rachel ran to Emilly who was in Daniel's arms. "What did you do to, Emilly?" Daniel shook his head without turning to Rachel. Rachel patted Emilly's cheeks with the intention that Emilly would immediately wake up from his fainting.

Daniel brushed off Rachel's hand which was on Emilly's cheeks. "Hey, don't hit Emilly, he'll be in pain when he wakes up!" he said.

"I promise I won't bother you like that. Are you tired? I'll carry you again, okay?" Daniel chirped.

Emilly held back her laughter, her eyes still closed. "bbh—bbh—bhahaha ..." then Emilly laughed while holding her stomach because it hurt a little from her excessive laughter.

"You think it's funny!" Rachel smacked Emilly's head.

"Yeah, it's funny. Hahaha..." Emilly laughed softly. "That's why I laughed, right? Hehehe..." she said.

With a quick movement Daniel approached and grabbed Emilly's waist, then tickled him making Emilly laugh even louder because he felt amused. "Oh my gosh, hahaha..."

Daniel looked at Emilly who was already powerless, then stopped the activity of his fingers on Emilly's waist. "Don't be so naughty!" Daniel pursed his lips making Emilly chuckle.

"Who told you to hug me anyways?"

"Initiative." Daniel answered flatly while shifting his body to face the front.

"You're just debating like an official." Rachel chirps who then grimaced at the blow from Emilly. "Watch out for you, I'll report it to the handsome brother Doni!" Emilly replied by sticking out her tongue.

"I don't want a sister-in-law like you!"
