9. Take a Chance

"I don't want a sister-in-law like you!"

Daniel tried to intervene, "Instead of making a lot of noise, it's better to take photos, shall we?" he asked while pulling Emilly's hand to get up from his seat. Daniel reached into his calico pocket and took out his cellphone and handed it to Rachel. "Take a picture, pretty."

Rachel was annoyed. "A side job started." She said which made Emilly chuckle.

A hand reached out and grabbed Emilly's shoulder suddenly. Daniel stood beside her. Emilly glared at him in shock. The sound of the photo being taken sounds.

"Wow... that's a nice view. Change the style!" Riri said while tilting Daniel's cellphone in her hand.

Emilly forcibly grabbed Daniel's cellphone in Rachel's hands then looked at the screen of her cellphone and the corners of her lips lifted when she saw the camera on Daniel's cellphone making her look more...beautiful? Emilly's hand reached out and gave his cellphone to Rachel. "Take another photo, Hel," she exclaimed.

Daniel laughed seeing Emilly's behavior, which sometimes likes to change. Daniel remembers when Emilly's face was red with anger when he put his arm around Emilly's shoulder some time ago. But now, Emilly doesn't even show his disapproving expression anymore, making Daniel even more confident that he can win her heart. Daniel glanced again at Emilly who was smiling broadly while raising her hands high. The sound of the photo being taken sounded again, again and again along with Emilly and Daniel's changing bodies and their occasionally changing expressions.

"No!" answered Emilly quickly.

Daniel did not want the moment alone with Emilly to pass just like that. Suddenly without asking Emilly's approval first, Daniel's hand reached out and pulled Emilly's hand and held it tightly. "Em, I want to tell you something."

Emilly reflex slapped Daniel's hand in her. Emilly was annoyed. "Don't look for a chance!"

"I'm not looking for a chance, really! That's a sign of love."

Emilly's eyebrows shot up. "Hah?"

"I know only a few people believe in love at first sight, including me! Before I met you, Em, I thought that love needed a process. But—"

"You're noisy ah!" Emilly stopped Daniel's sincere statement.

"If your future husband is talking, don't like to be cut, sweetie!" said Daniel.

"Whatever!" replied Emilly curtly. "I'm sleepy! Want to sleep pretty first." Kiya stood up and immediately ran slowly leaving Daniel who looked frustrated.

Daniel shrieked while wiping his sweaty forehead from the conversation that drained his heart and mind.

"Fail again, fail again!" he muttered softly.

The chirping of birds in the hills of Mount made Daniel blink and squirm in his sleep.

"It's really narrow! Just slide a little bit!" said Jeff. Although his eyes were still closed and his consciousness had not yet gathered. His ass pushed Daniel's body away from his body.

Daniel who felt disturbed by his sleep finally decided to wake up. He looked straight ahead. "Where's Alan, Jeff?"

Jeff did not answer.

A few seconds later Jeff squirmed until his leg rested on Daniel's thigh. "Damn it, JEFF! Idiot!" Daniel gasped and shouted excitedly.

Jeff glared and woke up from his sleep, "You're noisy!"

"I'm amused! Why are you sticking to my thighs? Are you horny in the morning?"

Jeff frowned and a second later threw a pillow at Daniel's face.

"Smell of drool!"

"My drool smells like Emilly's!"

Daniel glared, one eyebrow raised when Emilly's name was called and slandered by his own best friend. "Emilly smells like aunty Citra's cooking! Your drool smells like sewers in front of the campus, man!"

"Damn you!" Jeff said then lay down next to Daniel and closed his eyes, continuing his sweet dream again.

Daniel decided to get out of the tent. His eyes immediately caught the figure of Emilly who was conversing with other members. Daniel smiled faintly. He admired Emilly whose character changed 180 degrees when she was in front of him, making Daniel's heart even more determined to continue to reach the girl's heart.

"Daniel," Alan slightly shouted his name.

Emilly reflexively turned to Daniel who was looking at her.

Daniel immediately turned his gaze to look for Alan when his eyes met Emilly's.

While walking, Alan held his stomach.

"Why?" asked Daniel when they were face to face.

"Help me please! My stomach hurts so bad! I swear!"

"I'm not a doctor!"

"Ask for medicine, please. medicine for stomach pain. But I forgot who was holding the medicine box. Just ask one by one, or ask your wife, Emilly! She seems to know."

The king smiled broadly. In his grateful heart, Alan really understands his heart. If he's sick, he can make Daniel closer to Emilly, what if he recovers?

"Quick devil! Duh, my stomach..." Alan winced in pain. Daniel was still silent, like he was imagining something very perverted, Alan thought.

Daniel immediately walked quickly towards Emilly. His heart beat again with a fast rhythm, faster than usual when Daniel looked into Emilly's eyes who were also looking at him annoyed. Emilly who felt that he was being watched immediately rolled her eyes and immediately left the association of female members who were busy gossiping.

Daniel was silent until Emilly passed him. His hand reflexively held Emilly's hand. "Why did you run away?"

Emilly looked at his hand which was held by Daniel. She cleared his throat, then Daniel tightened his grip on Emilly's wrist. "Take it off!" She exclaimed.

"Daniel!" She demanded because Daniel just laughed at Emilly's reaction. While still holding her hand, Daniel asked her to walk. Emilly didn't want to imagine how the other Members would react when they saw the two of them.

"I just want to ask, who is holding the first aid kit? Alan has a stomach ache and needs medicine." Daniel explained as he walked.

Emilly exhaled. "Let go first!"

Daniel immediately released his grip.

Emilly walked ahead of Daniel who was now walking behind him. Emilly smiled faintly while holding her hand that was held by Daniel. She also felt ashamed for having thought of running away. Emilly invites Daniel to the front of her tent, because what Daniel is looking for is in her tent. Last night Rachel borrowed it to smear eucalyptus oil as a warmer at night.
