Chapter 29

It has only been 2 weeks since Nova and Zorion had become acquainted with Xeno and his slightly unidentical twins even if the boys fought on a daily basis over silly things and growing overprotective of one another's family, but there is something odd going on between some that there is in the other.

Nova tagged in on the training personally soaring against Xeno himself as he proved to go beyond what she had expected from him as he used MUI merged with SSJ5 against her own which proved to be very hard for the poor Toura-Jin hybrid to counter and keep up with him, but that is exactly what she expected to happen forcing herself to reach limits she never thought could be reached and become even stronger than before.

"That's it! Keep pushing yourself and you'll surely get there!" Xeno yelled with a proud smile aching her on boosting up her self confidence and determination to keep pushing forward and never let anything get in the way of reaching her goal on taking down Xzander and restore peace to the entire Multiverse.

However Zora was stuck in the watch of his father Zorion who seemed to be hanging around with the lady be first jumped into and Xeno's younger twin sister, Rin.

"Papa?" Zora called out trying to get his father's attention despite being loud enough for the Saiyan to hear, but he kept on chatting and laughing with Rin as if he had never existed. The boy was clueless as he went to reach for his hand causing Zorion to glare down at him startling the poor boy causing him to stumble backwards.

"You need to stop being so clingy, you're too old to be holding my hand let alone your mothers, so stop embarrassing me" Zorion replied educating his son to grow up and be more warrior than princess when being loved by his mother who was the main reason why he is like this.

"Give the boy some slack. She clearly has no idea on how to raise a cub yet, but I see a string warrior growing within and one day he'll be just as strong as his father" Rin said feeling slightly bad for the boy looking down at him while Zorion remained cold despite thinking about properly educating him on how to be a real Saiyan.

"You know what? I'm going to start training you myself, it's about time you learn about your Saiyan heritage" Zorion suggested before grabbing the kid's wrist dragging him along while Rin quickly followed after them knowing that this could either end bad or well for the boy if he was to listen and practice with his father more often than with Nova who she believes is incapable of taking care of a child which is very dangerous for her to judge Nova so quickly on how to raise a cub 'correctly'.

When coming onto a outskirt field far from the others Zorion was prepared to show his son the real power that could come out of that tiny half bred body of his and with the power of a Toura-jin and angel surely he'll be capable of great things.

"What about mama?" Zora asked making Zorion roll his eyes as if he had enough of this mama's boy bull crap and the day that his son toughens up is going to start today and won't stop until the kid knows how to learn basic fighting techniques.

"Now show me your battle stance, that's if you have one, do you not?" Zorion wondered as Zora did exactly that seeing the resemblance of Nova within him which proved that she had at least trained the boy at some point, but when? "Looks like your mother isn't as helpless as I thought she was, I can give her credit for that" He added as Zora growled hearing such foul words come out of his father's mouth causing the boy's BP to rise dramatically surprising the two at how intense things could escalate if not dealt with soon or Nova will surely find out about this.

"My mother isn't helpless! You're the one that helpless as I can easily over ride you BP thanks to my mama's training! I don't need you to help me get stronger I have Grandpa, Uncle Gohan and Goten who are far better than you!" Zora unexpectedly yelled at his father causing Zorion to loose it and transform into his highest state being MUI while the boy went SSJ4 not wanting to go too high.

"He's your father, show some respect, kid!" Rin yelled seeing how rude and stuck up the boy had become, but Zora just scoffed before blowing a blueberry at them in response causing Zorion to dash towards the kid as he managed to dodge the first attack separating the distance between then before increasing his BP which instantly catch nearby attention and one Zora was targeting to bring here.

"You're stupid to think that low BP is enough to tie up with me, son. I expected much from a son of Nova so why don't you prove your worth or I might have to do something that no father wishes to do to their own son" Zorion said in a displeased tone slightly hurt as the memories of his own father trying to kill him played in his mind wondering id it is actually worth killing weaker offspring for a better chance of survival, but there is arranged marriages to make actual stronger one even if chooses to spare his life. However he didn't want to be looked down on before using instant transmission to appear in front of the boy glaring down at him as the thought never ran through his mind as he was never there when the boy was born and only met him when reuniting with Nova as what has been like 8 years in her time suddenly revealing a child she believes is his.

Zora was left petrified as Zorion continued to try fight and end the kid with one deadly blow to the face no longer feeling safe in the presence of his supposed father. "MAMA!!" Calling out for his mother as this caused the saiyan to freeze in place somehow scared of this woman and what could happen if she sees him harming her baby, but nothing was sensed she couldn't be seen anywhere unless Zora's BP wasn't high enough for her to sense as Zorion sighed with relief glaring down at the boy.

"You had me scared there for a second, kid and yet you should know that we saiyans can't have embarrassingly weak cubs like you walking around and sad to say I might actually miss you, Nova should be shamed of giving me such a weak son" Zorion replied charging his attack once again, but this time Zora wasn't scared looking up not at his father other than that 3 familiar silhouettes were hovering behind him with clenched fists ready to beat the living crap out of them. "What? Is there something on my face?" He asked pointing at himself completely clueless on what was about to happen if he chooses to turn around. It is very sad to see a very promising saiyan turn his back on the ones he love for something that too could get himself killed, how truly stupid is this guy and how did Nova fall for someone like him? he may seemed sweet, but it all could be fake.

Zora rushed around him as Zorion tried to grab the boy's hair, but was stopped as a hand reached out tightly gripping around it almost crushing it causing the saiyan to look up and in his horror it was Goku and his sons and boy they weren't happy. Zora went behind them with a cheeky smirk seeing that his plan had worked either way and seeing the fear he once faked to trick his so called father was now on the one who tried to kill him.

"What was that you said about my sweet Nova?" Goku questioned in a serious tone aggressively pulling him closer in his MUI form just like Zorion, but something was different and will remain that way for time to come as the other two were in their SSJ4 forms glaring down at the betrayer.

"I-it isn't what it looks like I swear?! I only pretended to do it so he can become stronger, so don't hurt me! Please!" Zorion begged while pathetically cowering right there in front of our hero who could care less about his begging and pleading for forgiveness or recognition. However Gohan had bigger new to tell this pathetic excuse of a Saiyan and an embarrassment on letting him marry their sister.

"Oh, is that so? How come you're getting all lovely dovely with Xeno's sister, huh? You are clearly unworthy of our sister's time and by the way..*throws Nova's wedding ring to the floor below him* she found someone far better than your cheating ass, bastard" Gohan said seeing the shock on Zorion's face as a very odd maniacal smirk of satisfactory came across Goku's face seeing how sad his ex son-in-law had become.

"Yeah, and keep away from her and Zora or we'll do way more than beat you up, runt!" Goten snarled punching his fist into the palm of his hand showing visible signs of aggression towards the now ex-husband of Son Nova.

"And to add to that, I always knew you were trouble ever since you stepped foot on my planet. You don't deserve my daughter and never will as she is far out of your league so get up and. Get. Out. Of. My. FACE" he growled before aggressively throwing Zorion backwards at Rin as she dodged letting him crash into nearby trees as Goku turned his attention back at Zora picking up the kid. "You two know exactly what to do, don't you?" He asked not making any eye contact towards any of his sons as they vanished going after the cheater and deal the amount of damage he had inflected to Nova's broken heart allowing Goku to transmission back to her precise location before going back into base form releasing Zora who instantly rushed to his mother wagging his tail visibly loving her far more than Zorion.

"What do you exactly plan on doing to him, dad?" Nova asked with concern seeing how serious Goku was not yet calmed down from the intense confrontation he had with Zorion not used on being so negative and maniacal, but it he knew it was the only option to put the bastard in his place.

"Your brothers are currently dealing with him as if it wasn't for his sudden power up the poor kid would've lost his life today" He replied as Nova's eyes widened not expecting Zorion to act in such a vulgar way making her regret ever trusting his as she looked down at her son and sighed while placing a hand on his little head glad to have such a supportive family.

"Why aren't you going with them?" Nova asked again as Goku clenched his fists trying to hold the temptation on snapping Zorion's neck for how selfish this saiyan had become, but Goku remained serious keep what some saw was a serious expression while on the inside was anger and intention to kill Zorion remained chained down not wanting to alert Nova in anyway even though the bastard kinda deserved it for lying all this time, but for what exact reason?

"I wish I could tell you, Snowflake. Truly I do" he replied refusing to tell her the truth as the fear of her hating him over flowed within and he must remain here by her side even if Xeno was here a more trusted man to be by her side and has shown her far more respect than Zorion could ever give her.

Gohan's PoV:

This is completely insane, why would Zorion try to kill his own son? Zora isn't weak and never would be and it isn't Nova's fault either that the kind is kind and more stubborn than his mother, but it is his personality and we can't change that as it's what makes him who he is. We had Zorion in our grasp, well mainly in Goten's as he was faster to react and grab a hold of his tail before he could get away punning him to the ground.

"Do you wanna go first?" he asked as the anger took over me forcing me to take the honor of dealing the first few blows, but when we did he wasn't liking this pushing us off getting into his battle stance clearly dazed and unable to stand straight thanks to some lucky blows to the face and I could care less if this killed him, I have a sister to protect. "You could at least save some for me, man!" Goten complained seeing how vulnerable are target had become even though he deserved it for the crap he caused Nova and I feel so stupid for not realising it until now.

"Just go ahead and finish it already. We need to check up on the others" I replied giving him the heads up on dealing the final few blows, but before he could do anything Rin came out of nowhere preventing us from going any further as she is to be dealt with personally by Xeno which makes things easier for us.

"Aw come one! I'm trying to beat someone up, lady" Goten yelled as she remained in front of him and even if we move her or harm her the slightest she's the only best medic they currently have here and I don't want to be responsible for a huge extinction, but I doubt that'll happen. I stepped forward willing to talk to her than fight thing out like we Saiyans should, but I'm not like that as I too have a family I need to protect.

"Do you have any idea what you're doing, Rin?" I asked as she gulped visibly frightened by us and our SSJ4 transformations, but we have a job to do and if she refuses to move then I will end having to apologise to Xeno for any injuries she might be receiving if she chooses to resist.

"I won't let you hurt him! It's my job as a medic to protect the injured even if they're in the wrong, I can't let you continue any further on this pursuit for revenge!" She replied making it pretty clear that it was much more than that and with a large power level that is coming towards us I think it was time we tap out.

"Step back, Goten. She's coming" I warned my little brother as he understood and stepped out of the way with me confusing Rin on what exactly we are doing as she seemed to calm down, but really she is about to get a taste of own medicine.

"You bastards!" Nova could be heard yelling skidding her feet against the ground as Xeno came out of nowhere grabbing a hold of her just in his base form which is pretty remarkable as none of us are capable of doing that without having to transform especially when it comes to needles. Her and father are just so identical in personality that its hard to separately describe them.

"Calm down, Nova. Anger isn't the answer on sorting this out! Let me deal with my sister as it is my responsibility to keep her in check" Xeno begged trying to talk her out of this angered rage she seemed to be after learning that Rin too was involved with what Zorion was planning to do with his son.

"RELEASE ME!" Nova roared back sending fear through our entire bodies and yet Xeno remained calm holding tightly around now putting his arm putting her into a chocking head lock not entirely trying to knock her out, but to at least calm her down and deescalate the situation as we just watched him just tame the raging beast with only two bare hands.

"I said calm down.. I notify Neoma of this and she'll deal with it, so knock it!" He yelled finally showing slight signs of struggling as he looked back at us forcing my feet and my body move on its own helping him restrain her before racking her down to the floor using all we had to keep her put feeling her tug and push trying to knock us off, but it isn't going to be that easy anymore. "I'm not done with you either, Rin. Neoma will find out about this" he said glaring seriously at his sister who was absolutely petrified of a scene she caused by flirting and causing Zorion to cheat and hurt his own son.

"I'll never forgive you!" Nova exclaimed feeling her power begin to escalate as father transmissioned in front of us seeing the state of what he could've been in as he crouched down in front of Nova lifting her head up with his hand forcing her to stare at him and listen to whatever he has to say.

"This isn't like you. So why don't you forgive and never forget what these horrible people have done to you, it's the only way we can sort things out and move on. So forget about him and find someone better to live your life with, I just know that there is someone out there waiting for you, so instead of waiting your time on him use that anger when going against Xzander and right the wrong that had been done" Father said reminding Nova of the reason why we embarked on this journey to stop Xzander and being peace back into our lives again. She seemed to have calmed down allowing us to release her as father pulled her up into an embrace seeing her clench tightly around him clearly hurt from the betrayal of the one she thought loved her with all his heart, and hurts me more seeing her like this. I rather see her smile than cry.

Later on that day, Ebba and Neoma was notified on what had happened causing them to sort things out their own way and sadly evacuate the two out from the village for life and if they temp foot inside without permission actions will be made. Xeno was upset on loosing the only string he had left of his family and yet Neoma was more of a mother figure than anyone else in the village and entrusting Nova's life in his hands was something he is greatly honoured to have. Zora too didn't seem to care that he was left out of having a potential father figure in his life, but he was more of a mother's boy than anything else loving his mother more than anyone in the entire Multiverse and nothing can over take it even if he falls in love his mama will always be on the top of his priorities just like he had done for him.
