Once in a Lifetime Beat Down!

"How?"

Murzzul looked at him with such wide eyes that were bulging and full of shock that Eugene thought they would pop out of their sockets at any moment now.

"I felt it coming from a mile away. No, it would be better to say that I could see what you were going to do before you even made the move?" He tapped his head gently. "You see, I can see incoming dangers. Amazing, isn't it?"

While saying this, Eugene closed shut Murzzul's mouth with a kick to the jaw.

That hurt Murzzul like hell!

But Eugene didn't show him any mercy.

Another kick to the face dislocated his jaw for good!

"I don't want a mad dog aiming for my neck, so I did what any sane man would do and broke your jaw once and for all.

"Now, others wouldn't be afraid of getting bitten to death by you. You won't be giving other rabies anytime soon.

Eugene beamed at Murzzul.

"I believe you've never seen a man as considerate as me, right?"

Murzzul puked a mouthful of blood and glared dagger at him.

The desire to yank his throat out was vivid in his green eyes.

Eugene, however, remained calm and collected.

Though, a sigh did escape his lips at the Ogre's refusal to accept defeat.

"A lousy dog doesn't learn how to behave even after getting a beat down by his master."

"Pa!"

"Let go of me!"

Surprisingly, even though Eugene had dislocated his jaw, he was still able to make noises like a squealing, soon-to-be-butchered pig.

"Pa!"

"Fuck… I can't even free my hand from his grasp. Just how can a human be so damn strong?"

"Pa!"

"Didn't you hear me?! Unhand me!"

Eugene really couldn't understand him, but he knew Ogre respected the strong.

As long as one was strong, they could befriend Ogres or even become their master.

According to what he saw so far, Murzzul had a special position in the heart of the Ogres opposite him.

So bringing him down was the same as proving to them that he was stronger than them.

By doing so, he will gain their admiration and also the chance to subordinate them.

He needed strong people to serve him!

Only then would he be able to survive in the future and not lose his home planet at the hands of aliens!

Pa! Pa! Pa!

Thus, Eugene didn't stop raining down some slaps on his ugly mug.

Pa!

"Argh! I promise I will kill you as soon as I am free!"

Eugene shut him up by caressing his face with another slap.

Pa!

Eugene stopped after half a minute, but by then, Murzzul's face was so bloody that even his mother would fail to recognize him.

And even if she did, she would do everything in her power to prove to the world that he didn't come out of her womb.

After all, an Ogre getting his ass handed to him by an inferior race didn't have a family or friend.

[As you've defeated Murzzul, you've gained the rights to extract his stats.]

[Would you like to do it?]

'No, there are too many eyes on me. What if they saw?'

[You don't need to worry about them. If a God or their projection isn't in your presence, they can't see me extracting their stats or you absorbing them.]

Rebellion's words excited Eugene.

'Then what are you waiting for? Do it!'

He internally exclaimed.

[You've absorbed Murzzul's physical and spiritual essences. You get +9 STR, +3 AGT, +1 Mentality, + 8 Stamina, HP +7, and +10 EXP.]

Murzzul was stronger than the bunch of kids he had defeated a while ago. It could be seen from the plentiful stats he had siphoned from him. However, he had still defeated him easily. Why so? Well, firstly, he had gotten far stronger than he was after he defeated the dumb teenagers and absorbed their strength. Secondly, he was an Aura user. They were less in numbers and respected wherever they went in the tower. His opponent hadn't even touched the "A" of Aura User. Thus, it was but a child's play for Eugene to whoop his ass.

[Outlander: Eugene]

[Level 2]

[10/100 Exp]

[Strength: 35]

[Stamina: 38]

[Mental Energy: 115 Units]

[Health: 30]

[Agility: 32]

[Stat Points: 4]

His stats have aged like a fine wine in only a day.

"Next time, pick someone your own size."

After throwing out these words, which certainly amused the crowd and the onlookers, Eugene walked past the Ogre and headed for the young sage.

He left his defenseless back exposed to Murzzul for two reasons.

Firstly, Ogre had a rule of not attacking a man's back and always fighting them head-on.

If someone breaks this rule, they are punished harshly by the sages or law enforcing ogres.

Eugene wanted him to attack so that this bastard of an Ogre would beg him for death.

Secondly, he would be able to put a show to satisfy the God of Face-slapping and gain his patronage only if Murzzul sneak attacks him!

Gaining God's patronage was immensely helpful for newbies in the tower.

Eugene had no reason not to work hard to gain it.

"Die!"

Murzzul didn't betray Eugene's expectations.

He left him alive because he didn't want to upset the owner of this white room, who he couldn't defeat.

Yet, Murzzul tried to stab him in the back with a poisonous dagger he had taken out from the hide, covering one side of his chest.

As they were too close and he had bridged the distance between them with a single pounce, everyone believed it was too late for Eugene to survive Murzzul's assassination.

Ting!

However, a sharp bullet hit the edge of his dagger, causing it to tilt away from Eugene.

Murzzul's expression deflated.

But Eugene felt no better than him.

'Which MotherFucker ruined my chance to impress the God of Face-Slapping?!'
