Unseen Attack!

Once Yren had picked up Kimora, Deshi and him headed down to the next floor. After they had left the room, Gaius appeared once more, feeling intrigued.

While taking one of the monsters along with you wasn't common practice, in this case, it was possible. This was only because living people inhabited these monsters, but Gaius was still impressed that Yren had decided to take Deshi.

"The boy could have taken the monster before and achieved similar results but didn't offer the monster the same offer. At the same time, this monster would be better received by the others, making it the superior choice. Very good, my boy! You seem to have a knack for scouting potential talent that fills in your gaps!" Gaius mused as he walked into a wall and disappeared.

Down below, Yren and Gaius were standing in front of the entrance to the fifth floor. On the other side would be a mini-boss that Yren would have to fight, but the question was, what would it be?
