Gaius, The Dungeon

"Wait, you created the Dungeons?! What are you doing in one?" Yren asked as Gaius opened a hole in the wall.

"I have been waiting for you or any child of the Dungeon to be born. It doesn't happen that often, but I take special interest when it does. Come, we have much to talk about, Yren of the Dungeons," Gaius said, walking through the door, but he was being ignored.

"Are you okay, Tulli? Sorry, I had to boot you like that, but it was the only way to save you," Yren said as he helped the red Manticore up.

"I am okay, but thank you very much for saving me! I will heal from this wound, but that would have killed me for sure. You really are your mother's son," Tulli said in a pained voice but with a toothy grin.

Gaius watched them, tapping his foot. There was no point in telling the child how they would just be reborn; he already knew that.
