Don't Even Think About It

Yren stepped to the river, near the tree where he and the two Divine had a small picnic with the wraps. Yren smiled as he remembered the girls inhaling the food.

"What are you smiling about?" Kylie asked curiously, and Yren looked over at her.

"I just had a picnic under that tree a few days ago. I was just thinking about the girls eating," Yren smiled, and Kylie smiled back.

"You have a good relationship with them, even if it sometimes seems rocky. I didn't know a man was capable of such a thing, but then, you aren't really human," Kylie said, and Yren shrugged.

"I am just trying to do the best I can for them. They all love me somehow, and I love each one of them for it," Yren said, and the two started to walk along the river.

"What do you think of me?" Kylie asked but then said, "I mean, I see how you look at me, and you treat me like an equal. Yet, when we fight, I have never felt so alive; even though you are stronger than me, you bring yourself to my level."
