Yren got up, and the two walked for a while longer. This time they kept their conversation to current events and fighting skills.

Or, at least they tried to, but things have a way of circling around.

"So, I am guessing you haven't been to the Guild Hall yet? Mira went in and stirred the place up pretty bad while dragging Ciros."

Yren looked over at Kylie, and she was grinning.

"I really don't know why she needs to go everywhere like an out of control storm," Yren said with a sigh.

"I hate to admit it, but your mother gets things done. People don't get to rest until the job is done. If you do a good job, she always is quick to reward you for your hard work. That is just how she has always been," Kylie said, holding her hand on her elbow and twirling her other hand.

"You seem to be very close to my mother. Also, if my burned ears heard correctly, there was even something between you two, right?" Yren asked, now wearing his own grin.
